Has GOG done this before... advertised a big sale days prior to it going live?

I don't ever remember something like this (but that's not saying much with my memory).

Checking this morning, it seems to be the first time GOG has announced a sale date. Huh.

I think this is the first direct announcement, although the exact day has often been leaked. Also, they have had presales that effectively announced the day of the sale.

Curiously, there is no news today. Combined with the sale date announcement I'm thinking we might get a special event tomorrow. Hopefully the bird day that I'm wishing for to celebrate the Wingspan DLC release :). If I guess often enough I'll eventually be right about something :).

With GOG announcing the start date of the Winter Sale, the question now is...

... should one buy from the current sale...

... or...

... wait for the BIG sale?

I better see some exciting games released this winter because the 13th is a special day for me. lol

Good question . I passed the BF sale because i thought the same games will be cheaper during the WS .
