Yes. Sure, if it were a Town-Town lover pair, a claimed lover would be a prime target for a night-kill, since scum gets two for one. But IF it is a T-T lover pair, getting lynched is even worse, since it would give scum 2 dead lovers plus a night-kill. So three dead townies. However, if it's a Town-Scum lover pair, killing one of the lovers is actually good for town. A one-for-one trade is good, statistically and also gives information. So if trent's lover theory is true and ZFR is town and knows his loverbuddy to be scum, then he would want to get lynched. But that's a lot of if. Of course it's also possible that ZFR is scum and is just trying to save himself by hinting at a super-useful town role without actually stating what it is. Or he's town with some strange role where it's better to get lynched than to get night-killed. Some variation of vengeful, maybe.

Then, with what I thought possibly minutes left to deadline I decided not to claim. If I did, we'd go no-lynch. No info would be given to T with my flip. Just like previous game where my D1 play caused a no-lynch. And we ended up losing.
