It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

To provide our community with the best possible experience both on GOG and GOG GALAXY is one of our strongest driving forces. We’ve brought some new changes and enhancements into the latest GOG GALAXY Update to take one step further to achieve it! Let’s see what they are.

When logging into the GOG GALAXY you’ll most likely notice that the “Report a bug” option is no longer there. And that’s very much intentional. We’re improving our tickets submission system so that it can be quicker, more efficient and better address any issues that our community may encounter. From now on, if you’d like to report any bugs feel free to do so by using the “Get support” option. You can access it in its original location, which is by clicking the gear icon in the upper left corner and finding it just below the “Share feedback”.

We pay very close attention to any issues you report and attach high importance to resolving them as quickly as we can (thus the submission system changes). We know that one of such issues was a reported problem of nested context menus (like tag selection list) not being scrollable. We are happy to say that we’ve managed to fix it and it should work as intended!

Latest update has also fixed the issues preventing GOG GALAXY (2.0.60 and onward) from updating – so you’re not missing out on any improvements – as well as problems with game installations sometimes failing after resuming. We’ve also made significant changes to the underlying network stack and that means you should be able to experience reduced CPU usage or faster downloads!

There’s even more goodness within the update so make sure to check it out and let us know how you like it!
Not to take away from anyone's difficulties, but I've usually had a positive experience reaching out to support.

Ice_Mage: Click the "Download GOG Galaxy" button in the bottom right corner of this page. Use it to update while GOG Galaxy isn't running. If you run into trouble with that installer, you can alternatively get the full installers: 2.0.60.2 for Windows or 2.0.60.2 for Mac.
Yeah, doesn't work on Linux because GOG, in their infinite wisdom decided to block downloads of Galaxy on Linux even though I am using it through WINE or Proton, meaning I always have to find an alternative download of a free product, or boot over to Windows JUST to download it. It also means I can't download it from my phone if that is my only internet connected device.

Thank you for posting direct links, though.

How about updating the library by removing the huge annoying DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL NOW button! Unhiding the normal installers! Bringing back GOGmixes! And fixing the game counter (that was removed) in the drop down menu, while you're at it!

Galaxy 2 could've been amazing, until it wasn't, I had very high hopes when it was first announced until years passed by and nothing changed from the very first closed betas. I've been meaning to for a while but just haven't got around to it but when I do I'll drop a detailed post on the Galaxy 2 forum that no one reads about all the promised missing functionality and ignored feedback. Very disappointed with everything surrounding GOG Galaxy 2.
fix the 2 month old "pull-down menu" issue, which is a simple js script code change...
i want to see my numbers, all, like before..
- number of games
- wishlisted games number
- movies number
- wallet funds

cowards!!!

Spectrum_Legacy: Aye the error is gone... now it's "Checking for GOG GALAXY updates..." forever. And the chatbot is still there, ready to send you kindly away, so I don't know if the support system really improved that much.
Well, at least this puts to rest my theory that they were giving Galaxy yet another push by allowing Galaxy users to bypass the useless supportbot while the "Offline-Installer-only" crowd has to suffer it.

To be fair, it would be highly successful in making people decide to use Galaxy. I would call that the Stockholm-Warsaw effect :-)

People with bad experiences seem to be the loudest. It's a normal thing.

Old French Foreign Legion axiom: If at 1st you don't succeed, fail , fail again. C'est la guerre.
My version of Galaxy was broken with the last update but this seems to have fixed it. Thank you so much for finally including the option to decide what page shows up on startup! The Discover tab is great as an option but I like to have Recent as my default home screen for Galaxy. I also would appreciate if we could move the placement of the Discover and Recent tabs so that I could put Recent at the top. Not a huge deal, but it's something that'd rub less on the OCD lol
I am perfectly able to write tickets. Getting an answer to my 2020 tickets ... that is a different story.

ps: Could you PLEASE add a tag manager at some point? I want to get rid of the "Duplicate on GOG" tags on my games imported Steam games.

I understand your point but, about the workaround, did you try to temporarly change the browser's user agent instead?
It's usually a convenient trick.

EDIT: Figured it out, will test later.

paladin181: How do I do this?
I only know about Firefox, for others you should check online.
Options Menu button > More Tools > Responsive Design Mode > select or add the UA you want above

For example, I used it to download a Win10 iso instead of the MC tool, by faking a Linux system.

wolfsite: Considering how unstable the people who run that place are towards any criticism I'll take a hard pass.

Johnathanamz: So far they respond to me with my criticism and do not ignore me.
They completely dismissed me even claiming I had no games on my account when I had at least eight.

I would also suggest looking up the Alakhine's Gun insident as the owner of Zoom had meltdown on social media, they take things way too personally.

If I had to choose between Zoom and A DRM platform I would take the DRM platform ad I would at least get some professionalism from the staff.

Matruchus: Latest Galaxy Update failed already 10 times in a row. Fix your updater!
---
It can simply fail due some corruption or something in relation.
So, better to simply use the "Webinstaller"-executable to make the update-process more successful
( I.E. the same installer you used to install GOG-Galaxy in the first place;
it works as an updater so no extra-downloads needed ).
