lord_arm: demo of games, and bundles like getting Fallout 1,2,3 in one cheap price.

Fallout 1 = $5.95
Fallout 2 = $5.95
$12 bucks for both is like the price of a movie ticket.
Fallout 3 isn't a good old game (yet)
hmm. I would say.. a client that allows downloading and chat, similar to steam.
but if you really wanna get crazy you could do stat tracking like x-fire or even achievements.

Truly. With prices like these, who needs bundles?

K0d: I own credit card but i prefer paying directly via bank account as it is on gram.pl e-shop. This option is the best for me. PayPal would also be nice addition.
And the multilingual support for GOG site (preferably polish in my case ;)) is the feature i'm waiting for.

I'm Steam Core Team Translator Coordinator and I can help GOG.com translating anything to portuguese (for free, of course)

D-Man777: My list:
- Wishlist feature for my future purchases.
- Windowed mode for all games
- Gifting to other members
- CD / Jewel case art so we have something pretty for our
game shelves.
- Some sort of polling system for members to suggest
future games. More efficient than the massive forum
thread.
- D/L manager only if OPTIONAL.
- Video info on games (resolutions, windowed mode or not,
uses DOSBox, etc.)
A great service, guys. Thanks.

Agreed @!
I don't know if this has already been said, but having demo's on the site would really sell some of these. Even at 5.99 some people have worries about giving into their nostalgia regarding older titles. Personally knowing i could immediately have a demo of say 1nsane downloading would help push people towards feeling secure in their purchase decisions.
Not having to scour the web or wait for file front / file planet would be a god send.
PayPal would be very helpful especially for people from Europe. For me the easiest way to pay is PayPal, it;s fast and cheap. If you want to have more users form Europe, you should think abaout it.
The second thing is a color of font. Note that backgorund of site is gray, and the font color is also gray. Sometimes it's a problem to see what is written. In my opinion it should be more easier to read.
Third: In catalogue below the title is a dot-underline. I don't know why, but it doesn't look good. Get rid ot it and everything will be grat.
Fourth: If this a beta version, so tell me why there is no place where I can report bugs directly to developers or someone who is responsible for this. Forum is not a good place to this activities such a reporting bugs and suggestion.
Edit: I have just found it :P
I hope thah my feedback will be helpful to you guys. Keep on rolling, you're doing great job.
Greetings from Poland.

Toshi: Fallout 3 isn't a good old game (yet)

And may never be seen as this.
BTW some multiplayer informations in the game caracteristics would be fine.
Another +1 for PayPal. I doubt I'll be able to buy anything here without it as a payment option, which would be a real shame given this place has some of the few remaining games that I can run on my heap-of-junk PC.
I also like the idea of downloadable demos for each game. I much prefer to try a demo before I commit to purchase. (Though the prices here are so good that I'm not terribly worried.) I wonder if allowing access to the game manuals prior to purchase would act as an enticement.
BTW, I like the site and forum design so far. It's neat, fluff-free, and loads quickly while still looking suitably cool.

can you add solo to the cards accepted. I cannot yet buy a game as i only have one debit card, which you do not accept. I was planning on taking advantage of the BOGOF offer.
It is little selfish wish but I think that this feature will make happy big amount of polish customers. In my opionion GoG.com should support mBank mTransfer payment method. It is easy, quick and safe.
A "Show my posts" button in the forums.

Fumler: I would like to get some rpgs etc. and blizzard games, like wow vanilla, warcraft 3, warcraft 3 tft, diablo 1, diablo 2, starcraft etc

You can buy and download DRM Blizzard games (except Diablo 1, Diablo Hellfire, WarCraft 1+2+Addon) as often as you want if you either activated them with the CD Key or bought them in the new blizzard store www.blizzad.com /de/fr/it ...
Great feature, didn't know about it till last week as well. And all Games had a no CD patch a few weeks ago :).
My wishlist:
- Demos would be nice
- Feature to backup savegames would be great, but thats propably not easy to implement :/
- paypal or ELV (Elektronische Lastschriftverfahren) or Sofort Überweisung (www.sofortueberweisung) as additional payment method, in Germany most people don't have credit cards
- different languages! Almost all games have german and other language versions, so please add them!
- Gift certificates, either sending a specific game to an existing or new user (email) or sending a certificate over xx $ to existing user or new user, so that he can chose the games he'd like to buy
- Move the logout button somewhere else, maybe even in the main bar, so he's always somewhere around
PayPal. Ability to have games in .rar format or even better .bin .cue format.
What I would love more than anything else is the ability to have lossless versions of game soundtracks, mp3s sound terrible on my speakers.
Any other audiophiles here agree?

I'm on board for the lossless soundtracks, but I'd have to assume it wouldn't be worth it for most old games, as they probably don't have high-fidelity soundtracks to begin with. Also, I kind of like the hisses and pops and the imperfections sometimes... reminds me that the game is old. I guess if we're talking about a MIDI soundtrack, I'm not sure it's worth it... if it's something like one of the LucasArts classics, I'd definitely prefer lossless.
Don't see the value in .rar or .bin/cue though. For rar, I'm not sure that the compression will be significant enough to warrant the container (there's another forum thread on zips that is discussing the same thing). Bin/cue... I'm not sure why you can't just burn an image. And I would assume that bin/cue would make for a larger download size... although I could be wrong on that one.
