So this is a giveaway for a GoG copy of Legends of Eisenwald. Given how many times and how steeply this game has been discounted so soon after release, it is CLEARLY criminally underappreciated.

I hope this giveaway serves to make someone very happy to have received the game and also maybe drums up a little extra interest in it; as it is VERY good. The developers obviously put a lot of time and love into this one so I'd like to give back a bit if I can.

I hadn't really noticed this game before, but it does look very good. Will WL it for the future, but 'not in' this time around. Backlog is still easily >10 games, and I maybe clear 1 per month. ;)

I'm actually not sure to be honest. I know when it released there was a DLC available near Day One (at least here) and it added a campaign to the game - related and / or maybe parallel to the main campaign but involving a slightly different story.

I'm not sure what more they had planned beyond that but the story is self contained and fairly long / interesting (with a VERY cool presentation) within the main game campaign. I'm pretty good thanks! I've joked about it in other threads but the old gaming rig is back up to snuff in time for the sale and I'm hopefully going to be ready to go for a Mafia Game or two in the near future as well LOL.

Definately keep the game on your radar or feel free to change your mind about the "Not In" (same goes for DeMignon as well) because it is a solid one. I'm guessing you're not the only one that hadn't really noticed it the first go around (hence the recent sales) but like I said, a solid part of this giveaway was to get it a few mentions and noticed a bit more than it was before - so I'm glad at least one new person has noticed it!

I generally try not to plug stuff shamelessly, but when I really end up enjoy something and feel it's that extra bit of special I'm more than happy to do so.

I'm really tempted to be in, but I got "Transistor" in a GA a month or so back that I am equally gung-ho about playing and I haven't even installed it yet. For a couple months GemCraft was chewing up most of my (reduced) gaming time.

I have a lower bar for accepting Steam games since they're somewhat less in demand, but I can pretty much guarantee that 10 other players who would be in would get to playing this before I would, so unless I finish Transistor in the next 2 days (unlikely) I think I'll likely stand pat.
