PhoenixWright: I just grabbed Riddick because I've never played Butcher Bay.

You are in for a treat. Ignore Yahtzee's bad review.

Tserge: Erm, the Prince of Persia: sands of time trilogy are on sale on Steam too.
Are the sequels any good? I've only played the 1st in the trilogy , bought from GoG of course.

Mentalepsy: I hated Warrior Within utterly. Try the demo.
I didn't play Two Thrones, and because I hated Warrior Within so much, I never will.

I actually prefered the Warrior Within demo. That version of The Prince's voice actually made him seem like a man pushed to his breaking point, instead of a whiney ponce with a bit too much angst.
That being said, Warrior Within basically suffers from Middle-Segment syndrome. It was needed to set the stage for the third game, which was actually a lot better. That goes back to a likable Prince (but still a more mature Prince), fun platforming, and even some nifty stealth segments (where "stealth" means "blackjack the gak out of everyone because nobody wants to crawl around").
And the timed segments are a lot more forgiving than the Dahaka chases. And more enjoyable.

Weclock: It's playable, so it's not like it's lucidity or anything.

You're right, Monkey Island is way better than Lucidity.

Weclock: Also, as someone who only just played Monkey Island just recently for the first time, yeah it's pretty terrible... but it's not funny, and I don't care about any of the characters, it was just some soul-less game that was repeatedly unfunny and very boring. It doesn't stand the test of time.

Thank you.
bullshit. Monkey Island is funny
If you disagree you are a grumpy -ass
and probably depressing to hang out with. yup.

Anyone used this already? Is it UK only?

The thing is, I'm not a grumpy ass.I've created a number of skits, written a number of humourous songs, and still contribute jokes to a rather successful local comedy band.
The game itself, while it is ridiculous, doesn't strike me as funny.
I've laughed more playing Half-life than MI.
Section 8 (on sale today over at Steam) is a great game, although the community is small.

It worked fine for me. I got their cheap Serious Sam HD license key and registered it on Steam, no issues.
I want to buy RIddick from Steam but Tages DRM sux. 3 activations with no revoke tool. Great work Atari, I hope you will shut down.

Same case here. I would buy this even if isn't $5 as I would like, but this 3 activations is a no sale for me.
Damn, crap deals today.

I was just giving you crap. I don't get the soulless comment though. The game has lots of character and charm

Exactly why I was so opposed to buying any activation limited game before the revoke tool came out. That and I won't touch a tages game regardless of restrictions. Far too problematic.
