Hmmm...well, I'm definitely not as 'sold' on it as I was before, Judas. I'll give the demo a try.
Gamersgate has Street Fighter 4 60% off ($15.98)

I do love their cheery new region restriction icon. They clearly put a lot of thought into that.

Haha. Brad LOVES's us.
Why are Impulse's prices overpriced compared to Steam or even gog? For example Tropico reloaded is 14 bucks normally which is crazy when all the other services sell it for 10, it's the same with other games.

It's even worst for us in the EU.Every Kalypso game on Impulse overpriced for us.
That impulse Red Faction Pack is BS, they actually raised the price $10 to lower back to it's original list price of $29.95. I have been waiting for it to go on sale and it finally does for a scam. Buyer Beware.

Impulse have been uncompetitive for a long time now. The only exceptions being their own Stardock games and deals with certain publishers like EA and Ubisoft. Of course the EA and Ubisoft sales prices come with the price that only the US can take advantage of those offers.
It's why a lot of people are starting to get tired of Wardell complaining about the Steam monopoly when Impulse make absolutely no attempt to fight it. Wardell seems to think he is entitled to challenge Valve despite the fact Impulse offer nothing in competiton.
Impulse can beat Steam, but first they have to remove that region restriction crap.
This is the region restricted face of Impulse:

You know, I've always wished that for some amazing triple A game on Steam too. Where it's available here in Japan dirt cheap over Steam but not sold at all for those in the US (with added IP blocking to prevent play of gifted copies).
Ah, would be wonderful to see the fallout from that. But I bet Valve would simply refuse to sell it =(

Ah, I would love to see this too... just one title, a big one, on a weekend... The revolution would spread to all DD services. :)
"MW2 $14.99 - Territory: Worldwide (excl. North America; No gifting allowed)"
