Alan Wake.
first of all I don't get char's motives. "ppl you cared about afraid a dark let's went in the forest in the middle of nowhere on wakation". ~8|
next was all annoing tricks gemedev used for stretching gametime - respawns, clumsy char, fov, etc. It become repetative and boring very fast.

DmC Devil may cry.
I'm not very like all that "plucky hero vs system" thing coz it quite stupid itself. I can withstand some level of stupidites because of good show and because it's fiction (like Fireflay) or even overdose pathos like FFXIII. But that game riched absolutly new level for me. It was like 5 years old kid lecturing you about life. Barely saw the screen because of multiple double face palms.

Game of thrones.
Story all right, game mechanic quite bad.

Rayman legends; Influx
Just not my type of games afterall

darthspudius: Maybe you should actually play it before judging it. Seems a bit stupid to be honest.

thejimz: I've seen more than enough. I watched the aesthetic, tone and writing being developed for several years. None of them were true to Wasteland 1: they're just a mess of grimdark, teen-angst mediocrity. At my age, I don't have time for that stuff anymore. New Vegas was the real Wasteland sequel, in my opinion.
You've got it seriously backwards, somehow. NV is the weak, teen-angsty mediocrity of emptyness that isn't worth wasting your time on as a mature adult who likes quality. Wasteland 2 is the true next game after Fallout 2. It's the mature, dark, thoughtful, non-hand-holding, non-mainstream game I'd been waiting for since Fallout 2. Where are you seeing any teen-angsty stuff? Examples please.

snowkatt: diablo 1 and 2

shallow
repetitve
ugly
no depth
piss poor story
graphics give me a headache

i payed 1,50 for diablo II i still feel robbed
Absolutely! I even had pre-orderded the DII CE. Such a waste. I'll also add to this list:

Warcraft III Collector's Edition
World of Warcraft Collector's Edition

Fooled by Blizzard over and over and over. Stupid me. Never again!
Cosmonautica: it was not presented as a rogue-like but it plays exactly like one.
If you focus on trading like I did, you will die and loose the entire game if you get attacked. Game Over. No re-load.
All the hours you spent on upgrading your ship while trying to earn money, all completely gone.
The fees for getting out of a fight are simply ridiculous. If you can't bribe your attackers you're done with the game.

The lack of space on your ship means you have to choose between combat and trading, there's not enough space on the ship to facilitate both,...not if you want to keep your crew happy as well.
Too little money earned on trade, too long time for research, not enough space on your ship.
The game needs re-balancing, as well as re-branding as a rogue-like ...not as a space sim adventure game.

This game only worth a look if you enjoy rogue-likes, otherwise give it a pass.
Beyond - Two Souls
Even preordered the special edition -.- And before you say anything, yes, NOW i know that preordering was dumb, else i probably wouldn't be posting this. But after Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain I thought you couldn't go wrong with Quantic Dream. Of course, both had their faults, but both had me sitting on the edge of my seat, and I thought i would get that kind of experience again. Instead i got that suicidal, bored Ellen Page super-soldier thing.
I half regret indiana jones emperors tomb because even if it seems to be awesome tomb raider game, there is this technical thing.. no widescreen mod, controls I got worked almost with some pinnacle profile but still it would be much better without stretching. If nothing, still that game gets right every sound effect. Even that revolver. It sounds like I remember from the movies. If it had some working mods it could be better game than anyone ever knew.

Edit: I must use this opportunity to also say that the dig (for the third time) makes a really good intro and seems interesting and it still is, you shouldn't actually know how stuff work you are in some alien planet but still come on, how I should go forward? if everything is so weird. I did get it that I picked some lens with some magnetized moving thing but I just don't know how to make it drop it.. I'm not rage quitting but I was like hour there yesterday with that, it took a lot of time even get it that you moved that thing with that control panel.. There is a world of internet and walktroughs but I don't like to use them, I mean i think I am just in the almost beginning. Come on!

Kid Chameleon on Sega Genesis (Sega Mega Drive 16bit in my country)

No save game / checkpoints. You have to complete the game in one sitting.

Its hell.

Unless you use an emulator, MOST old cartridge games don't have a proper save game system. The best you could hope for with most games was some sort of code-based continue system where, if you made it through a particular level, you'd be given a code that you could enter to start from that point the next time you played. Only a small proportion of games had battery backup in that era that saved your progress to the cartridge.

Fairfox: In any case, if any GOG mod/admin reads this, turn my unwanted, unused Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2 titles into gifts! I paid about $30 for the lot; might as well make use of 'em and get something out of them for the community.
I played a lot of torment one point (also I live in constant torment) it just nowadays takes a lot of patience to play those games. It doesn't make them bad games, we are just getting old and impatient I think.

I miss my patience. =)

I remember thinking when I played torment like 40 hours then lost my saves well, before I lost my saves I thought years ago, this must be the best game I've ever played.

When I lost my saves then there was some blood between my teeth. After that I got soft. =D

Red Faction I played the demo and it seemed to have an interesting story/setting and generally be a bit different from your run of the mill shooter then basically from the point the demo ended that was all it was a really boring shooter. Ended my placing any value in demos.

I liked red faction 1. I still remember it with some warmth.
Empire Earth 2. Not that it's a bad game, but I wanted more Empire Earth, and it just didn't feel like it

The issue for me was that it felt like the demo was one thing but the rest of the game was another I admit that is pretty much all I recall of it but it still sticks in my mind the disappointment and the feeling of being cheated. I'm not a fan of your typical FPS so I was looking for something more that it delivered. Whether whatever I saw in the demo was there or a figment of my imagination I don't have the foggiest.

The other game that blazes like a star when it comes to regret purchasing is Bioshock I pre-ordered from a mail order company and knew nothing of its online DRM rather than face the issues of returning it I fought back the bile and installed it. I had trouble installing it but I eventually got it working however the whole time I was playing I was just pissed off at the whole thing. The only game I have ever installed with online DRM may it and its ilk be destroyed with lasers.
Myst Masterpiece Editon and the last express. I don't like the first person perspective.
