VBProject: 1. Freeze peach doesn't apply here. It doesn't even apply on Steam which is from USA.
2. Yes, there's a difference between criticizing because you want it to be better and outright blind hate to everything GOG does.
I'm not sure how you can see this thread as being critical of GOG. It's not. It's critical of the devs who refuse to update their games, not GOG. GOG cannot force them to update something. This is a thread of shame for lousy devs who don't care about paying customers if those customers aren't on Steam (usually). 2. Yes, there's a difference between criticizing because you want it to be better and outright blind hate to everything GOG does.
It also helps consumers understand what they're buying (customer transparency is good).
Finally, it's also a place where some of us can mention replies we've gotten from devs when asked (which may give people an idea of when things may get back in sync or if it's a total lost cause).
None of this is hating on GOG. It's actually all directed at devs, either to pressure them to update (and treat us as the paying customers we are) or to shame them and let other potential customers know (where they may withhold buying the game outright, regardless of platform, because of bad behavior on the part of the devs). I love this thread.
