Any news about the update?

They said that they will forward it to the "producers" (I guess they mean the publisher). These things usually still take a bit. I will keep an eye on this and remind them as necessary. As soon as I have some news I will ping you here, okay?

The info on PCGamingWiki regarding the Easy Anti-Cheat in the first game is outdated. Easy Anti-Cheat was removed in version 1.08 -- it's stated in the changelog, and also easily verifiable on gogdb.

Even if EAC is removed we are still missing an important patch that fixes the following:

- Save system issues have been addressed:

- Saves not loaded on September’s patch will be safe to load on the new build. Players who have not attempted to play the game since then will be safe.

-Saves created on the September patch can be continued on the new October build.

-However, saves loaded on the previous patch released in September are unfortunately gone permanently due to unforeseen corruption issues.

-Removed 20GB of unnecessary textures

-Fixed a language issue where the game would boot in English regardless of the selection made in Steam properties. Now boots in the selected language.

Just as a note, maybe the update will come here in a few days. The Real Texas has just received an update to v1.8 on itch.io.

Barony (and i am quite confused it wasn't there already).

Version is generally up to date (which is a plus), but
- (unsure) some dlc content (special character classes) might not be unlockable due to how it was linked to achievements
- (sure) there is no online play. Only lan. (It sure does allow online play, but only using 3rd party services which is not mentioned elsewhere)

Generally it looks like dev maybe did try some things, but still online play is kinda a fact.

Trinity Fusion has been updated and should hopefully be on par with Steam again.

I just noticed that Flatout and Flatout 2 are not on the list. Instead only "Flatout Series" is on the list. It would be great if this could be changed because I am using the second class helper add-on and this add-on does not warn if it can't find the exact product. So right now there's no warning for either Flatout or Flatout 2 because there is not product called Flatout Series.

Update:
Spacebourne 2 is on 5.2.4 but Steam on 5.2.6. The 5.2.6 has very very important changes, for me the important are the language changes. The devs says there are willing to improve the update process but the past don't give me trust. A "Updates are very very slow, if at all" are approval.

X4 Foundations: all are updated but not the Linux-NonEnglish versions, only the main program are on 7.50 and the dlcs are on 7.10 hf3. Thats not okay while egosoft has no problems with the gog-build-system. All Language Windows Builds are up to date and the english Linux are up to date too.

Yes i know load Linux english version and update the config with telephone language code:). But at my opinion Egosoft can made it very easy, save space that costs and many more. Only one Multilanguage-Version and a language-setting-app ingame or as an extra app and all problems gone. I dont know why egosoft made things so complicated. For that price of the game i must say "Linux NonEnglish-Build DLCs are not timely updated"

GoG version is from 2018 while steam version of Unepic is from 2024. Last update was quite nice and it's a shame we didn't get it... :c
