Catventurer: Since I haven't seen Office Space, I'm only going to have to say that you only know that to be true because you're also a member of Team No Work. Every time I use an FMLA day to take my cat to the vet, you're going to be the first one in my corner office bringing flowers for my cat, asking how my cat is, and spending the next five hours debating cat memes with me. If anyone asks, we're having an important meeting here.

Team No Work could have come up with a better name than that, but that would be work.

joppo: I guess I found my peers already.
I never saw Office Space either, but my professional role model is Dilbert's friend Wally. He can turn avoiding work into an art form ;-)
I actually feel more like Dilbert.

Welcome to Team No Work. You get to join GamezRanker and me for secret meetings that everyone else knows about where we find other stuff to do and avoid doing work.

I'm not familiar with Dilbert so I looked him up... and it looks like he does work.
Yes. Dilbert works, knowing that most of his work is in vain, because of incompetent management, cost cutting and lazy co-workers.

When do we start?
Vote Lift
He is way too anxious to start killing everyone, I suspect he is a serial killer....
In.

Hey, I wanted to be Wally! Missing meetings due to urgent (and long) bathroom visits, and more.

I guess I have to be RoBert. (pronounced "robot" with an "ert" ending)

And I applaud you. The Dilberts, Alices and Asoks of the world are the reason I can be useless at the office and the company will still produce something eventually, despite the PHB's most scatterbrained ideas. You keep us all employed. Keep at it while I keep doing nothing over there, at my cubicle.

Well, technically I am no one just yet, just one of the vague HPC (highly paid consultants)... I may not even get to play in this game AFAIK.

Nice to see you join this game. :)

A wild ducky appears! \o/
Welcome. =]

Dibs on Asok. He may be Indian lorewise, but I like to imagine him being Eastern-European. :'')
Elbonia? Never heard of it. There is an Estonia though... But that's Northern, not Eastern Europe. ;P

// Needs more smileys
Welcome!

Elbonia is covered in mud. Completely. Their main export is mud.

Oh no. Amy1133 hasn't been dealt with for so long it's replicating itself now.

So do I, but I can't guarantee that level of continuous availability through the length of a game just yet.

However, there might be good news in a near future. It's fairly possible I'll change jobs early next year and that would mean dealing with a much shorter commute and a few less weekly work hours. So I might be able to join at the front lines for the next game already.

Front lines!? :D
Oh, ye filthy backseat gamer... ;P

I now imagine joppo sitting behind a monitor, munching a mango and going: ''Vote for CatVenturer already ya bloody muppets!''
*waves*

Pretty fine company we have here, and I've not played in good while... but schedule is so busy these days that I can't in good conscience take part.

Have fun, @everyone.

*disappointed*

I would love to play a game with you again!

I'd too, hopefully before I completely forget how to play this game.

Seems like the simplest solution would be to take a go now! =P

Forum mafia takes time, take for example this sign-up -- it started almost a month ago... and we don't even have a hint when the actual game will start / the sign-up will end. :D

By the time it starts - who knows how your schedule will look. And even if you are still busy - so instead of analysing every minute detail of a post you simply glance over it... so what... what you post and what you vote will still have merit. And from the Tesla vs. Edison game - I for one can testify firsthand that you don't / wouldn't post every day anyhow. =]

With the speed forum mafia moves in these parts, the next game may very well take place sometime April.
