So it seems he may have asked a mod how various roles might affect a cop's reads? Seems sketchy proof and I doubt the mod would confirm this came from him anyway....

I believe CSPVG was town. We don’t know if he was sane. Here’s what the wiki says about cops:

Cop is the only role where it is established through tradition and meta that results are not guaranteed to be accurate, and if a Cop is not told that it is Sane it is assumed that any of these sanities may apply. Sanity may or may not be revealed upon death, according to the mod's discretion.

To those who have experience – is the above a fair statement for GOG mafia games? Any thoughts on our game specifically?

Frankly, right now Bookwyrm is a complete distraction. He has no useful information except false reads on two dead people and he can seemingly get a random read on someone tonight. Why do I get the feeling we'll have a "Town" read from him at LyLo...

But if this game turns out with Bookwyrm telling the truth and flips that are incomplete (leaving off negative modifiers) I don't see how town had a chance except blind luck. If no roles can be trusted and no flips, town has nothing to go on.

In a shortened game like this with apparently two NK's each night, to have both sanity issues and no sanity flips would be extremely bastard. The only games where sanity variations work are longer drawn out affairs where the cop has enough time to "figure" it out. In this game where it appears we could be down to 2 players after 3 days, sanity impaired cops make zero sense...no time to figure anything out. Not enough reads to narrow it down.

I suppose it depends on one's assumptions. It is almost as if you are ignoring what flubbucket and I are talking about!

On the other hand, I have no idea if my assumptions are correct either, but I hardly have zero to go on.
