I appreciated what it tried to do but not as much as I wanted given how much I like the source material. It's a bit messy and it tries to do more than it should in just a single movie for the sole purpose of setting up the bigger events for JL. I did enjoy the basic portrayal of characters and what is to come, though. Loved Affleck as Batman.

Nrrrnnngggg.... I just can't like that guy. Well, except for in Dogma.. he was okay in Dogma. Damon was better, of course.

Chasing Amy he is good in too, even though his behavior is a bit unlikable in that to begin with so it excuses some of his inherent scummy-ness. But it is pretty amazing how he pulls off that completely different feeling of character for Dogma. Great movie!

He ALSO plays a huge unlikable asshole in Dazed and Confused, and so pulls that off very well and is a great role of his for that reason. Fucking despicable every time! It's great!

Yes!! OMG, I wanted to be him in that movie!! Hahaha.. oh man... you are right.. he was good in that role. :)

He was cool in Dogma but was DA BOMB in Phantoms!! But seriously, I started to like him more and more in his later movies. He's better Bruce Wayne/Batman than Christian Bale. And I really like Bale and thought Affleck will butcher Batman.

I must be the only one who like Michael Keaton as Batman. ;)
