Let's take you for example, you said that I was suspicious and voted for me, does that mean you don't suspect other players at all? It just means they weren't suspicious enough to vote for a lynch. Unless you're scum then you could probably be not suspicious of few people.

The difference being I never said I find no one suspicious.

At least with regards to no-lynch, I don't really see how that helps much day 2. At best, you get an additional cop read that probably won't get revealed to us. Meanwhile, we get no information while scum picks us off. Day 2 starts almost as uninformed as day 1 except for the surprise town flip from the scum kill. And this isn't to mention the possibility of an arsonist.

Then you have to consider the likelihood that the cop dies before we find out anything at all...

Pushing for no-lynch so early gives us next to nothing.

Mostly to see what other things of it in the context of the current game. Also, I guess I'm more inclined than you to believe flavor isn't just flavor. I do suspect the game is designed to have no lynch sooner or later and I do take into account bler's stance towards that notion and some of the hints/explanations he gave before starting. But I agree that it's highly unlikely it will happen anyway and probably not a good idea to do it immediately.

I am not always against a no lynch, there are situations where it's viable, but I don't think day 1 with no info to go on is viable.
