I'm going to be gone most of the day, can say much for tomorrow. As to the lurker debate, think of it this way...
Sure we can keep lynching those who are active and talking and trying and just leave everyone who isn't posting and contributing in the game so you can have a very terse and boring last few days...

Scum team becomes obvious because everyone has been forced to take a side, hence why I will always support pushing the chronic non-contributors. CSPVG had as much chance of being a cop as anyone else, lurker or no. Those are the breaks...

How likely do you find it that he will be the target tonight because of his claim?
oh, and, those are the 4 types that exist:

town, mafia, anti-town neutral, pro-town neutral

how to or why have a pro-town neutral, you ask? because it can make things interesting and provide balance depending on the setup, possibly even a non-biased referee to try and keep things on an even perspective

just my opinion

how inconvenient that RW was unable to answer my question before signing off and being gone for most of today/tomorrow, though it did register he was online for several minutes after, I wonder if his response was going to be too elaborate to post hastily

anyway, I'll pose the same question to trent, kryps, cristi, and really everyone else who cares to contribute something in regards to it:

What do you think the likelihood of CSPVG living through the night is, if his claim is true?

Furthermore, if we are to believe at least for the time-being CSPVG's claim is true, and if you find it more than likely he will live through the night, do you propose it is a good idea to now consider a D1 no-lynch and seeing what information is provided tomorrow and then go from there then? Especially given it is the weekend and the deadline is relatively early monday.
some more notes:

1.) krypsyn is uncomfortably quiet, to me, again (last game as well), this means exactly nothing, but it is still a note regardless. that's special!

2.) oh right, JMich is playing, I almost forgot. how goes that pondering, JMich?

3.) more silly

A question for those that were/are pushing CSPVG's wagon for reasons related to "lurking and pressuring a lurker to see what pops" type things:

1.) why not go for pressuing JMich or Krypsyn by wagon formation, who in my experience lurk+contribute minimally on D1s, much more than CSPVG?

(Greetings from London, UK. Anybody dead yet?)

(OK, I'll slip out now. Sorry!)
If there are doctors then he should get through the night. If there aren't then his chances of making it through the night aren't so good. Hopefully there will be some hints in d2 flavor to denote a save by doctor.
Time to play some Tales of Maj'Eyal! (great game for occasional pauses of varying lengths during active forum mafia times)
...not that that is what is going on here, I know, it's saturday, it's early...

I will probably go back to bed before toooo long, actually

What about the neutral-town neutrals? And the Lipps Inc. Funky-town neutrals?

Lovely. I assume at least parts of the message have been correctly deciphered, though the single star in the OP is giving me trouble.

Question about the 4 factions you mentioned, where would a neutral survivor go? Pro-town neutral or anti-town neutral? Their only condition is to survive until end of game, or until day X.

The correct counter was "Thornton Wilder Our-Town neutrals"

I take the single * as well as the seemingly incorrect # of them in extinguishers to indicate that not all words in the OP that are *** have the correct # of * for amount of letters in the word, although some of them may very well be the correct number. I've decided the things in the OP are to keep in mind but not to focus on at present.

That would be a referee type could be as much pro-town or anti-town as they wanted and could (just like anyone can be perceived to be) be seen as either way depending on their behaviors/actions and how they play throughout the game. Of course they can even playing both sides within the same game just to stay alive no matter what, going back and forth. A dangerous element for town, potentially, but also a potential ally. Perhaps they could be converted to good for good?!
