**So fucking sorry Ix, I really thought there would be time to talk about the lynch/for you to give a defense or others to jump off your vote or make arguments why you shouldn't be voted for BEFORE it is finalized. I really think that is a better wray to play (that is how I played 2 live-flesh version of Werewolf.) It allowed for much more interesting play and no possibility for speed-lynching, which a "town" would NEVER do, and doing that is just completely scummy play to me, AGAIN, so sorry Ix.
I KNEW you weren't scum, GAH! I was looking forward to analyzing your wagon BEFORE the lynch and probably turn the vote off of you onto someone else (like I did at the early point in the game when your wagon first stalled, and pushed it to Vitek, who I would have probably again tried to push it to, erroneously obviously. but I'm sure we could have saved you from being lynched, you were so town to me! So weird how you played that Vitek, I don't understand any of how you played vs. Ix "waving your scum flag", not understanding his "brainstorming analysis outloud contemplations of a flustered townie" being exactly that, but it's all good.) Sorry for fucking that up EVERYONE, really, I messed the game up, I feel, by hammering Ix early.
I thought it was more likely that mchack was the 1/4 on the Ix wagon that was the intruder, especially after I verified to myself that crew/bookwyrm was town (which I don't know how got missed and he got lynched, so fucking stupid IMO) but mchack wasn't providing much evidence against himself and bookwyrm was acting weird, but I was quite sure he was what he turned out to be. This also pushed yogs more likely because I thought it was more likely 2/4 were intruders on the wagon before krypsyn joined, then Vitek at 6 (which to me, again, I thought was the final scum vote to pusht he wagon over the edge of "very likely" to roll to a lynch.)
I am a bit upset how you played that book, but, whatever, no biggie, moving on. It's a game that was fun and everyone should play it how they want to play it because to me that is what is most fun about it, just "playing" with anyone/everyone, whether you are town or scum, trying to discern for yourself the truths or push an agenda that you believe in. I mean the analyzing and all that is "fun" and the engaging part of the game that makes it come to full-interesting-enough-to-play, but, it's just a game of complete conjecture and emptiness basically from the start, with a slow accumulation of information, and, so, you might as well have fun with doing all of that. CarrionCrow, obviously not a game for you, I think. I'm glad you stuck it out though and didn't give up mid-game. I do appreciate that at least.
So, I also feel like I was a little responsible for defending mchack and the whole mod-interuption and role discrepency that was such an issue in the first place that should have probably gotten him lynched. I was pretty sure he was the intruder just as it seemed (and everyone saw, I saw, but, for some reason, I didn't want to ASSUME and was trying to play the game "more fair" for the moderator and "suspend disbelief' or give the benefit of the doubt or something.) Again, sorry everyone! This makes me want to be more on-board with "policy lynching", but I find that to be a horrible thing in principle because, to me, it is just reason to make bad assumptions and THAT(trying to push a policy lynch) to me is the scummier behavior than whatever "bad practice" someone might be doing. I'm sure I'll lie as a townie at some point. Lynch me for it? You are scummier than I am, IMO.
mchack, why didn't you sabotage the 2nd crisis? I was playing so hard that I believed you weren't scum and hoping you'd sabotage and I could confirm you, was almost certain that was how it was going to play. GAH!! well-played on waiting, well played! but why didn't you do it?!
I never really thought JMich was scum (especially after I confirmed the non-sabotage simple stat-fail of his, I was quite sure it was not sabotage at that point and therefore he was even more confirmed town, even though I was quite sure already, from very early), he was my decoy most of the game, but it never seemed to catch as I was trying to get it to. I was waiting for a team of 2 that I found already more likely to present themselves as trying to go for JMich, and turning the focus on them (which did eventually start to happen, as adalia was doing it quite obviously to me, and so to me he was confirmed scum because it compiled some previous behavior.) I figured either mchack or yogs would join adalia and that was going to confirm either of them for me as scum, I was more certain of mchack though than any one else.
Am I revealing too much? So many thoughts, I'm sure you're all tired of hearing from me. Thanks again for bearing with me, supporting my play, or at least, for not lynching me because of my playstyle. Also, I will probably bring up no-lynch again in the future, just because, well, it's something to discuss as a town, really, we can't just lynch someone for the hell of it/out of policy IMO. Especially if people are more open and talk about if they have investigatory roles or what actions they might perform. I think communicating all that can be helpful, but not too early, of course, which, again, validates the certain values to a no-lynch (as admitted by JMich himself!)
GOOD game, thanks, sorry it had to end this way, but I feel it makes sense, especially with the confirmed mchack intruder position. DAMNIT! I like how it was handled to end, well done, intruder team. I don't blame you!
