Vitek: There is no point in trying with you, is there?

You spin everything the way it suit your ideas.

Correctly, one should take pieces of evidence and construct case from them while you constantly have some conclusions and create evidences to make those conclusions correct in your mind.
No, I'm simply posing theories, like I said. That's the best theory I have. I'd rather not try and decipher too much of what krypsyn was doing anything, rather just use the more substantial stuff (which, the last link I provided of his where he says "it's vitek" is the one I'm most interested in of his.) I have enough of my own interactions and observances that I put forth, the krypsyn suppositions are just that, of course. I am open to other's thoughts, including yours, on my position and other positions (and your position/what you have to say, which, as usual, isn't much of anything, not surprisingly.)

Other theories I have is that JMich is playing a subversive intruder or droid-faction leader that is trying to take over the station and doing a fine job at it, even minus 1 droid, dedoporno.

Is it possible RW can pick roles but not be crew?

Regarding Bookwyrm627, I think he is also a good possibility to be intruder, but not as good a feeling about him (and how the wagon is going) as a couple others. There is this to consider, from crewdroog. I don't know if that means that she had intruder role and if Ix and I got a wagon to lynch her going there'd be a revenge killing at night, OR, if she meant she had an insta-kill ability where she could choose a target upon getting lynched and kill them? Other interpretations?

Why are you so confident agentcarr16 is crew, RW? I also asked you a question about your belief in who is town in a previous entry "...your list of 3 people yet to claim role or that they were roleblocked I don't understand at all. Does that mean you believe EVERYONE who has claimed anything so far? and that that means they are town? Or just that you find it most likely that anyone not having claimed at this point of anything about any action or role is more likely to be an intruder? If that is so, why?" or can you clarify for me your statements in regards to where you talk about the 3 nonclaimers at this point?

RWarehall: It's clear that if we failed on stats, it was the FIN side, but strangely day 1 we succeeded on a STR check with a combined 12...The INT side should have crushed the check...
Right, the team RW was on couldn’t have been at fault. Still, we’re missing something here…

avatar
RWarehall: It's pretty darn clear we succeeded day one with only a 6 average on one side. And on day 2 we failed with at least that on the FIN side and a much higher average on the INT side. No analysis you can do will change this incongruity.
Hmmm, getting closer. Where are we going with this, RW?

avatar
RWarehall: JMich worked Day 1, and because he's a good player, even if scum I thought he'd be unlikely to sabotage and reveal his scumminess.
So wait, you’re saying…

avatar
RWarehall: We either failed due to sabotage or stat failure. Since we have no idea how target numbers are arrived at, any further analysis is rather pointless.
…that sabotage is possible after all? But we shouldn’t analyze it? But you seem to be trying to lead us to…

avatar
RWarehall: As I look at the crisis event failure, JMich is the one who sticks out. Could it be some sort of randomness with failures? Does Quad use a die? Or sabotage. At the very least, JMich is a policy lynch as a roleblocker, but let's face it, he's a bird in hand and the only way we can be sure is a faction cop.
…the payoff. Took you long enough.

So why aren’t you voting for JMich? Why did you instead jump on the only quickly-rolling wagon?

avatar
trentonlf: What are your thoughts on bookwyrm?
Over the long night, he was actually one of the players I scrutinized the most, for all the reasons I listed here in Day 3. I had actually planned to start questioning Mr. Wyrm myself to start the Day.

The suspiciously fast rush onto his wagon made me pause, however. I dinna like it.
avatar
JMich: Wait, what? Why is a roleblocker a policy lynch?
avatar
RWarehall: The role is more likely scum than town.

Now, let's find a couple scum roleblockers and your case for being Town Arso...I mean Roleblocker gets better.
I truly believed I was a town arsonist. I was on a mission.
avatar
RWarehall: Let's put it simply...
I pick the teams.
I feel I have enough information for now to continue picking teams.
If I feel something is missing, I can ask.
What I'm hearing is "Trust me". After the previous failure, I hope you'll be forgiving if that doesn't inspire confidence in me.

avatar
RWarehall: As to not claiming at L-3, I agree.
But this time, hopefully people will let you claim, then hold off for at least a moment to ponder the situation.
*shrug* While it is my life at stake, it is for other people to take the risk of a sudden hammer. We've seen such a hammer from Trent in a previous game, we've seen it from Drealmer here, and we've seen Hijack repeatedly proclaim he just really wants to hammer.

I'm glad you mentioned the cop. When you're questing around after people that haven't claimed roleblocker or roleblockee, please remember that these sorts of roles might be in those lists. Assuming that someone who has claimed to be blocked can't be a 3rd blocker is shortsighted.

avatar
RWarehall: There is still a killer and another roleblocker unaccounted for. For now, they are more important. Not to mention the reveal of other roleblockers helps or hurts the case against JMich.
I think discussion about the crisis events is less likely to out any remaining town power roles, though both roleblocker review and crisis analysis need to be conducted.

avatar
RWarehall: Let's find the missing scum roles first.
Which ones and how many are missing? Maybe you mean it differently, but it sounds to me like you are now trying to out everyone that hasn't claimed yet.

avatar
RWarehall: @Bookwyrm What is your opinion of Yogsloth?
I think I need to build more bunkers and siege tanks. I also think he is probably town, and I think he has been making good points. My biggest concern is figuring out how to make sure he doesn't do to me what I did to Bler in the LotR game.

I can only assume adalibooks and RW agree that bookwyrm looks scummy so they voted. Mine is a continuation from yesterday, and my stance has not changed no matter how much bookwyrm wants to talk his way out of it.

We need to cut the BS that's going on with all the petty arguments over stats. I'm not a fan of rushing a lynch, but in this case I think lynching bookwyrm will hit scum and I think we need to do it before anoher crisis occurs so scum can't sabotage it. If scum sabotage it bad enough we lose a townie, bad play on towns part for even letting the crisis happen if that occurs.
Drealmer: I find I'm unable to focus on Vitek right now; I have more immediate things on my mind. I, personally, will be holding this on the backburner for later review unless you can come up with something more concrete (and hopefully more concise). Sorry, too much text to process, and I know that's rich coming from me. You might be right; I just don't know right now.

drealmer7: Other theories I have is that JMich is playing a subversive intruder or droid-faction leader that is trying to take over the station and doing a fine job at it, even minus 1 droid, dedoporno.
Dedo flipped town, and I see no room in his name for him to be anything that isn't pro-town (no "Guard of Arsonist" here), so Dedo wasn't part of any sort of scum faction.

JMich might be scum, but I doubt there is an all-droid anti-town faction separate from some other scum faction. Quad seems to have purposefully designed the game to avoid any sort of PM shenanigans that might lead to the scum being outed in such a manner.

avatar
drealmer7: Is it possible RW can pick roles but not be crew?
I've been turning this idea over in my head, trying to figure out some way to make a scum dispatcher work. The problem is that I think it is either too convoluted to figure out, or it pushes the game balance too heavily in favor of scum unless they have a severe handicap elsewhere (like having only two scum on the team). Taken together, a lot of RW's actions almost beg me to vote for him, but I keep tripping over his claim. He might be neutral; I'll have to mull this over.

So you assume that Adalia and RW are town?

According to Quad's explanation, it will take multiple failures to kill a townie. Each person on the away team is a potential point of failure, so (assuming townie stats are high enough) multiple scum will need to be on the away team in order to kill a townie.

This is my big problem. Taken in a vacuum, RW is screaming, begging to be lynched. Dat role claim, though. :) What do I do? This is not where I expected to be at the start of Day 3 at all.

Unvote RWarehall

It just doesn't make sense. If RW's role was given to Scum, it's just too overpowering... unless that's the gig. thatsthejoke.jpg

Still, I'm not going to go anywhere with this, right? Right.

I have to be off to work now (nightshifts again) and then I desperatly need to sleep and then acknoledge I have a family and spend some time with them and then I'll be rechecking the game tomorrow around this time (when being off to work again), So I can't be the one making huge analysises right now.

But I do think trent makes alot of sense there and I do believe him in his claim.

So my thoughts in short:

On the matter of the failed crisis, I heavily suspect either jmich or agentcarr to be the weak links but have no way of knowing if it's sabotage or too low stats (though if agent then it must have been sabotage)
The main message for me in that is that we can fail even when we believe it's a sure success (as I truly did) so if scum decides to sabotage on top of us having too low stats they can make it fail hard enough to kill someone. I don't want that to happen, so I also think we should lynch the most probable scum before another crisis happens...

So I'll

vote Bookwyrm

for now and hope that if/when he believably claims town enough crew members jump off to evade another mislynch. If indeed he is a cop as he kinda hinted at, he should be able to provide two confirmable reads... if not it would be a very good thing if we finally caught scum there and evaded the next crisis in the process!
