Very interesting...
I've got more Twix than a candy store.

Going to be real interesting to hear full thoughts and actions from everybody - and a couple of folks more than others.

I'm reserving my full thoughts - and vote - until we hear from everyone... but I do have thoughts aplenty.
Still Alive. Time to sleep.

drealmer7: he's also the person I am 2nd most comfortable voting at this point, and yes, I am comfortable voting at this point, obviously. Just for the 2 I think no more at the moment.

Krypsyn also had both of them on his higher suspected list, and, it looks like they've gotten rid of 2 experienced players both nights, which I think means they have at least 2 experienced players on their team. Also, I think 2 or 3 voting for Ix are intruders.
@Drealmer7 Maybe not vote-worthy, but is there anyone else you find questionable? More specifically, what are your thoughts on these role block claims and Flubbucket, JMich and HijacK. Which of these people do you think are the most likely to be lying?
avatar
HijacK: JMich, before you say anything I want to hear who was your target last night because as I was going to jail RWare I was role blocked.
You were. You claimed that you don't want to use your power and take the risk of blocking a town power, so I guessed you wouldn't be using your power last night either. Seems like you did decide to use it after all.

So, either there's a third role blocking role that doesn't want to reveal itself, or we have 2 people lying about being blocked.

flubbucket: Fascinating...

I was role blocked.

I'm thinking I should vote.

trentonlf: Was your role block the same as what others have claimed?
Nope.
Interesting developments...

Just posting to check in. I've got quite a bit to say and I'm on my phone at the moment so won't even try to type it up until I get to a computer.
That and I want to read my PM properly before sharing it's contents, and that's damn near impossible on a phone...
Damn, now everything went wrong Day 2, I sure hope we get better results soon!

Now what the hell went wrong in the last crisis and what is the consequence?
I haven't gotten any clue via pm nor have found anything in the posts of quadralien...
Did any others from the away team get any info on why we failed? Any consequences for failing at all?
@Drealmer7 Did you manage to find out anything using your ability?

----

btw, as krypsyn flipped as someone named Lister, I now wonder if there's a Rimmer on board... (I love that show ;)

trentonlf: Vote Bookwyrn627

Only scum would want the crisis to happen.
Good to know you think RW's claim shouldn't be checked (at least without spending a night action doing it), and also good to know you think knowing who is involved in failures is not useful information.

Considering the crisis event, it looks like somebody goofed.
Right, many developments a foot.

Let's start with the role blockers, as that seems the most confirmable.

So we know JMich isn't lying about his role. We can also assume there is a third roleblocker (though to be honest we don't know HijacK is a roleblocker at all, as he was blocked) as JMich and HijacK are both accounted for and flub has been blocked.
Now, we can assume that this person is the same roleblocker that blocked Agent, and as they have not come forward (and blocked a claimed town power role and stopped him from confirming his claim N1) we can assume this other roleblocker is anti town. Further more, I would bet they are scum (or part of a faction at least) as a lone third party has little use for a roleblocker ability unless their intent is just to sow chaos.
So assuming scum don't have two roleblockers that should basically clear JMich, and HijacK once he can actually demonstrate he is a roleblocker.

There are other possibilities (Agent and flub are scum and the role block claims are both false, JMich and HijacK are scum and the roleblocking and claiming is cooked up to make them look townier) but I think they are a lot more far-fetched and unless there is proof to support them I at least will ignore them for now.

If the other roleblocker is scum I think that clears Agent to an extent, though I eagerly await results of his night action, so I won't be voting him again right now.

Other things to note:
A lynch was rushed through before the Crisis event results, was this because scum knew it was going to fail and they wanted a townie lynched before scrutiny could be turned on the away team members?
The Crisis event has been failed with no noticeable consequences so far. So what is the penalty for failing? As mchack has already asked, has anyone received any info to state they have been handicapped in some way for the failure?
drealmer presumably hasn't got a scum read (or whatever the result of his investigation is) on someone, or he would have shared it. Who did you investigate and what result did you get drealmer?

And last but not least, I used my power last night. Quad's flip of Ix led me to believe he is basically vanilla (the flip of Krypsyn uses similar wording too which I think strengthens this) so I investigated (or whatever the hell I do) dedo instead.

The result was that dedo had a power "Counter Sabotage" which meant that if he was picked for a crisis mission he could make sure it did not fail due to sabotage (I checked with Quad and he said it could still fail, just not because scum sabotaged it). He had 2 shots of this ability.
So it looks like our flips are some what nerfed and my action is to find out what powers / night actions a dead player had.
And unfortunately it looks like scum got pretty lucky N1 as that might have been a handy one to have around...
*weeping over the losses of Ix and Krypsyn* *even some tears for dedoporno, even though it was just a droid, I think it had feelings too*

WHY?! This is torturous! *runs over to the main computer console**stares up at one of the screens where Q.U.A.D. appears**bangs on the console* IT'S YOU!!! I know it's YOU doing this to us! You have turned us all against each other! YOU locked the doors. You activated the holographic termination program, that was no game we tried to turn off. You're a corrupt A.I. and we need to figure out how to stop you!

I must resolve to the fact that it very well could be the intruders that have corrupted the computer systems and caused the malfunction intentionally, not meaning to get stuck in here with us, so maybe Q.U.A.D. did save the rest of the ship as best as it could. I still also believe there could be an entire malfunctioning droid contingent that is its own separate faction working against us as well. AGH!

At least, we must go forth with the knowledge that intruders are among us, try and figure out who they are, and eliminate them.

I will respond to some further questions I see posed to me after I first (in my next post) reiterate my accumulated case for Vitek for you all, which I've made since near the beginning (remember, I was on Ix at first in the game, almost was okay voting him, then realized my error, switched to Vitek and actually made my first vote there, which I remain with to this moment.) I'm presenting a case and I want to hear what each of you have to say about it, plain and simple. This is serious, we can't let that sort of mistake happen again. Of course I can't know if I'm right and if Vitek was just erroneously mistaken on his judgement of Ix, but to me, his behaviors are extremely intruder-like, pushing their agenda on a convenient target (Ix!) who was legitimately scared for his life, (especially with having said nothing much but flavorful "waving your scum flag" type comments that don't actually articulate reasons.)

...
Personal log: drealmer seems to have had a relapse. This disease is most insidious.

You think you might like to share the results of your last nights actions?

This goes for agent too, though at least he hasn't actually been posting...
First things first.

adaliabooks: ...though I eagerly await results of his night action...
Last night I managed not to get knocked out. I booted up some scripts to watch through the security cameras and some others to see if he was accessing the computer. Nothing came up.

From what I can tell, HijacK did nothing at all last night.

mchack: Did any others from the away team get any info on why we failed?
I didn't receive any additional information about why the team failed. From what I can see, it seems that the FIN half of the mission was the side that failed, which points toward Mr. Mchack or our resident cleaning droid, JMich. However, I could be remembering wrong. What do the others think?

I do have some questions for specific people, though:

Mr. HijacK, why do you say that you wanted to jail Captain RWarehall?

JMich, why did you choose to clean outside Mr. HijacK's room?

Mr. Drealmer7, did you get an opportunity to do an inspection on the crisis we had yesterday?

Mr. Flubbucket, did you get any flavour with your roleblock?

agentcarr16: JMich, why did you choose to clean outside Mr. HijacK's room?
Already answered.
