I see that the crew has once again descended into apathy with the stress of waiting for the crisis resolution.

avatar
QuadrAlien: Right, then - the team has been selected, dispatched, etcetera, etcetera. (Sorry about the lack of flavour, I'm already later than I thought I'd be with this - though I will say this)

"Well, AgentCarr16, the problem is this ISN'T hooked up to the rest of the station yet - it appears to have been in delivery. Waiting for whatever power supply it has to run out is a bit of a gamble, and while a remote connection might be possible, it'd require getting through any security measures before this can be done."

The team have been selected - ETA for resolution is now 23:00 GMT, 28TH OCTOBER 2015.

(Unless QuadrAlien's train is delayed. Again.)
I see. And I suppose there's other equipment in the storage container, so we can't afford to simply shove the thing out the airlock, can we? Too bad.

avatar
drealmer7: I also believe we have a double-voter who doesn't necessarily wish to reveal themselves this early.
What makes you believe that, Mr. Drealmer7? In my (admittedly limited) experience, double-voters aren't particularly common.

Frankly, I don't see why Mr. Bookwyrm's timetable is considered so scummy. It's something I would work out myself, just to see where Town stands.
avatar
JMich: No idea at this point.
Any thoughts you'd care to share at this point?

avatar
Krypsyn: Everyone is acting an exactly equal level of scummy/towny?

Amazing; what are the odds...
How about you? Any thoughts?
Any particular person you'd like to see lynched, if everyone would just agree with you?

Bookwyrm627: Thoughts, Adalia?

Yes, Agent. Hence my vote.
Failing that, any lynch would be nice but I don't see anything happening until the crisis is resolved (I'm not even sure we could lynch until it's done... what would happen? What would happen if we lynched an away team member?)

I can't really see the crisis failing unless whatever stat requirements there are increase massively or scum sabotage. So really it's just a case of wait and see and then get on with things later, as boring as that may be.

While you are at it, maybe you can ask Q.U.A.D. about medical conditions that fog one's brain. I mean a couple days ago, I presumably knew exactly who you all were and wouldn't be guessing now. Maybe Q.U.A.D. can also explain why, when someone dies, we seem to remember them as if it were a few days ago, like poor "Spud"...

While throwing all of you out the airlock might resolve the situation, I'm not sure I can run this place all by myself. Captain on a space station is more about giving orders and paperwork. At least I get the benefit of two abilities, as from the sound of it, most of you are stuck with one. Alas, the second hasn't been all that useful as yet.

If you're content with lynching Ix, we could try testing that right now. Team has already been assigned, so we shouldn't incur any sort of auto-fail based on that.

"HAY SCUM! PICK ME PICK ME!" o.O

General question: Who actively objects to Ix's lynch? Even he is on the fence about it sometimes.

Are you trying to get killed?

I will not vote Ix, I feel he is town and it's a bad lynch.

I'm have to admit, I would be willing to kill Mr. Ixamkyakxim, as especially if we get some mechanics information at the same time.
I just spent some time going back over the security records to look at Mr. Ixamyakxim's contributions to our predicament. I believe someone guessed that he had voted for everyone in the game. That's not strictly true, but he has managed to vote for 8 different people, out of the 16 people locked in this room together. And he has publicly stated that many of these votes were simply to push wagons, without real reasons backing them up. That behaviour isn't very pro-Crew.

I would still prefer to kill Mr. HijacK, but I don't believe that's going to happen Today.

unvote HijacK

vote Ixamyakxim

Much?

yogsloth: Are you trying to get killed?
Let's just say I don't mind yanking the chains of the invaders...
I won't say what this ability is...maybe its an investigative power; maybe its a bomb. Will they try to kill me, or will they be too afraid of getting caught? I didn't come out as Captain, not to be posing this dilemma to them...

Maybe its a weak power and I'm trying to draw a roleblock...maybe its strong and mentioning it is intended to make them think it is weak...

Whatever the situation, they have to decide if it's a trap or not...
avatar
Bookwyrm627: Or did someone want to call me out for assuming there are 4 scum at the most, while running the numbers with no neutrals?
I noted it in a joking manner. It doesn't mean I completely ignored it.

avatar
Bookwyrm627: How about you? Any thoughts?
Many. A few of them even relevant to this game.

avatar
Bookwyrm627: Any particular person you'd like to see lynched, if everyone would just agree with you?
adaliabooks and flubbucket top that list. trentonlf is probably third on the list now, bumping drealmer7 off. Lastly, Vitek rounds out my top 4.

Amusingly, not the person for whom I am voting currently.

EBWOP

I'll even go so far as to say I am 90% sure Ixamyakxim is not scum. He is likely either a neutral who wins with town, or pure town. Yet, I am still voting for him. He is at L-1 now, right? I idly wonder who will hammer.
Think its L-2, but either way, he ought to have a chance to speak for himself...
Well, I guess I could vote for the last person to jump off Ixam's wagon...

Unvote Bookwyrm
Vote Ixam

Now, let's at least here what he has to say...
I really don't think he's scum, but I wouldn't put third-party neutral past him.

Hijack will hammer I'm sure, he might not like jailing people but he likes to hammer.

Waiting on crisis event to resolve.

I'm Voting for HijacK.
