Thank you all for participating and sharing your favorite westerns. I had already known about most of them, but the one I will be taking away from this is Firefly. I had heard of it before, but never really gave it any thought or interest, writing it off as just some garbage that got canceled right away. But after reading some of you praising and recommending it, I checked it out and found it to be really good. So thank you to those who who named Firefly, without whom I never would have realized what I was missing.

Now, onto the main event! There were 12 entries eligible to receive Outlaws:

I put this list in random.org/lists and randomized it over and over again until one user showed up first three (3) times. That user was chevkoch. Close seconds went to Antimateria and Sorapak, whose names came up twice.

Do you know Bank Panic? Another Western-themed Arcade title of the 1980s. A friend and me used to play cooperatively, him on the stick, me shooting the bad guys. Played for ages on one coin, until they told us we couldn't do that anymore... Fantastic game.

EDIT: Oh, WOW! Just saw this now, thanks so much, JogsterXL! And for the congrats, everyone! This is gonna be sweet :)

Congrats to the winner! A fine shooter it is!




As a sidenote, when you buy a game how do you get it as a code to be redeemed by another person? I only see the option "gift" and that asks for the recipient's email.

Just put in your email. You will get an email with the code, and the game will also show up in your Orders & Settings page, where you can find the code and also see if it has been redeemed and by who.
