So is the movie really that good? I heard its not really based on a Bible story more of "fanfiction" that was on the side lines besides what was happening with Jesus?

I keep forgetting to watch this one. Has anyone here seen it?

Blade Runner was also on this list for me for a long time, until I saw it a couple of months ago!

I liked the Redux version of Apocalypse but still I thought Platoon was a better Vietnam War movie.

There is barely a religious thing about the film. I find it harder to believe that there is actually someone who hasn't seen it lol.

its been years and years since i saw it
all i remember is that is almost 4 hours long and that the scenes with jesus are short and he is only seen from afar or from behind

its more set in the time of jesus and the story crosses paths with him once i believe
but its a long long long time ago since i saw it

the 1925 version is also worth watching http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben-Hur_%281925_film%29

the 59 version is a remake of that movie and there will be a remake of the 59 movie in 2016 ( yes seriously )

So question is it wrong to admit I never seen True Romance?

Despite enjoying Crime Movies like Goodfellas, Casino, Reservoir Dogs, and Pulp Fiction?
