This place will be our tomb if we don't escape soon ! I keep good distance with Beldarion's party but continue to follow them. Roark passes and laughs at me. I remain stoic. "We will have some explanations, you and me, before the end. I swear you", I think to myself.
Meanwhile, Beldarion and the others seem worried. I hear there is a Beholder ahead and they want to avoid him by sneaking through shadows and pillars. They also discuss tactics about the Drow, but it's confusing. I hope Eranear's party join us quickly, otherwise they risk to be isolated with a dreadful ennemy, maybe worst than the Hags.

I decide to imitate Beldarion's party by carefully sneaking through shadows and pillars to avoid Beholder attention. If we can pass the Beholder safely and if they encounter and attack the Drow, I will join them, but if the Beholder is awaken I will use my thief skills to remain hidden and disappear from here.

+3 hammer, shield (extra silver hammer)
1x potion of healing

Unofficial Spell Count - I'll have to go back through and confirm what I've cast:
4 x heal spell (I think 1 left) / 4 x turn undead spell/ (3 left) 2 x protection bubble (1 left) / 2 x immunity to fear (2 left).
You do extra damage to undead and are immune to their disease attacks.

I'm not of any particular use against a beholder. Given the clock is running,

I think the only viable action is to proceed up the stairs with thras, et al.

I would presumably be unaware of the need to be quiet, but given the plate/shield/weaps I'm carrying, I don't know that stealth is particularly viable anyway.

Technically I don't think he ever specified tomb, just that we may be stuck here.

Still, the place isn't without amenities. There's a nice garden, and an all-you-can-eat centipede buffet.

Seems like we are on the last stretch guys. Seeing that Taz has been taken care of and considering that there are no other options, I insist that we all hurry up the stairs and start my own ascent up them.

gogtrial34987: You're still downstairs, a full turn behind us as you didn't take any actions for turn 15; you first have to make your way to the back of the room, head up the stairs, etc before you even see this dark room. :)
Thanks for pointing that out. I've edited my post to better reflect that.
Action Summary Updated

BenKii: Haven't taken turn yet:
41 - zlaywal - Zayd ibn Yasin - Human Ranger
48 - babark - Babargh - Dwarven Cleric -- ( Globe of Protection )
72 - park_84 - Darrim - Dwarf Warrior
78 - CervelloYM - Cervello - Drow Battlemage
80 - Green_Hilltop - Eranear - Elf Paladin -- ( Protection Against Evil, Reflect Spells, Bless )
5 - Sulibor - Dunward - Human Mage -- ( Magic Shield )
You must be a better scribe if you want to earn your overpowered sci-fi weaponry :P (Just kidding, you're doing a great job with your summaries)
I think Dunward stated a few actions, it might be pending some definitive update, but so far it is (in case he doesn't post anything else):

avatar
Sulibor: At my disposal is only the magick shieldso I will recast it on both of you in the next turn.
avatar
Sulibor: I will do as you wish, I do not have much time at the moment, but I will start with recasting the shield on Beldarion in this turn and you on next. I need to count the spells I casted so far as I do not wish to be left without any in a case of emergency. I do not have objections against the casting Levitate in this or next turn if the need arises (I was also thinking about that) as Beholders have high resistance to magic attacks if I am not mistaken.

Specifically for the "I will do as you wish" part, that was a response to #858, in which I also suggested commanding the Ogre to take the torch and walk along the right side of the hall.

(I saw those posts. In the past Sulibor (Dunward) had put his actions in bold when he wanted me to add them to the summary. I took those posts as he was only thinking about doing an action. I suppose I could put them in the summary temporarily until he officially posts his actions.)

Done. Dunward's temp actions have been added to the Summary.

Well, now that everything's cleared up and Thras seems to be better, I take the point and lead our party upwards and cast Magic Bubble on myself, to better protect myself against any potential traps. I had cast PoE on turn 12, which means it will expire at the beginning of turn 17, if I'm counting correctly.

In case I don't post in time, I cast Protection Against Evil on turn 17 (when the previous one expires) on me again.

babark:
Both I and Roosevelt have Protection Against Evil, which is a group spell, so it'd be great if we could go in a formation where we could cover everyone. I think PAE is for 4 people including the caster, so we can cover almost everyone (there are 9 of us going upstairs) except one person. If Babark casts his Globe, then we'd have everyone covered. :)

Since the game ends at turn 10, I recommend casting any protective buffs now, since it's going to be turn 16 and everything will should last until it's dispelled. Doc said he said at the beginning the game will end at turn 20, so technically we could say our characters can sense we need to hasten out.

(Also, I recorded your potential actions for Turn 17. Should you not be around, they'll show up in Turn 17's Action Summary.)

Thanks! In case I do miss it, can you add please in that case that afterwards I move forward with everyone and cast Heal on allies who need it, unless there's an opening to attack any foes targetting us or the other group I would otherwise have missed. In that case I first attack, then Heal (if it's possible without getting attacked). PAE->Attack->Heal or PAE->Heal->Attack.

Hopefully I'm going to be around and able to react to what's happening, since we'll reach the Beholder on Turn 17, unless we get caught by some traps on the staircase. :)

(Sure. I've copied it to my notepad. Don't stress out too much about the game. Take your time, real life always comes first. :-) )
