Squee jumps up and down frantically. "The chest is trapped! The chest is trapped! I dunno what to do".

Damon what order should we open the locks in if not all at once? I doubt just a single key (hornet) will open a chest with 3 locks. Perhaps we should search the other rooms for more chests or symbols?

There is no way of knowing whether or any particular chest or chests even contain anything useful. A ruse to keep us here longer, it may be. If we are to open any chest then we must not dawdle, for if we do not move forward in due time, we shall never see daylight again.

It's a drawing of a circular room, what other circular rooms have you met? Anybody have noticed there were 2 chests in that room?? I did! and one of them had the symbol of an hornet on it!
I know it because I checked it personally... and the same symbol is here again, while the other two have no match.. or not yet at the moment... So we have to keep in mind there could be some bait of a trap
Probably someone of our experts already noticed some traps on the chest... can someone confirm?"

I will support you however I can good friend, I will cast protection from petrifictation on you in case there's something nasty like that in the trap. Try whatever you think is best, it's your call.

I cast a spell *Protection from Petrification* on 56 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior

edit. Also remember you are still under Aurelia's globe of protection if that's of any consolation.

"Damon, I'll wait outside the room, but I'll be ready when you need me. Just call me. Oh, and take this..." - I hand Damon my amulet of repel arrows (if it's not too late).

EDIT: Since Aurelia's Globe Of Protection can protect us both, I'll stay in the room with Damon and I'll help him the best I can.

Squee quickly runs out of the room in case of traps.

-Squee Goblin Thief
** TURN 7 **

Northern main tunnel:

10 - Squee - goblin thief suggests the three strongest companions take a key each and unlock the chest, turning all three keys at the same time.

51 - Henz - Elf Thief wonders who has the keys.

56 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior ask if there are any traps and is told about the one on the chest that can only be activated or deactivated by certain unknown actions. No other traps have been spotted.
You ask for the Hornet key as the drawing reminds you of the central chamber.

61 - Vanathradil - Elf Mage passes Damon the keys while muttering under his breath about being surrounded by short-arses. You point out to Damon that Squee agreed with you about turning all the keys together.

51 - Henz - Elf Thief moves to a safe distance from the chest.

56 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior with exasperation points out the picture is a representation of the chamber they all started in. He asks again if the chest is trapped with which the little Goblin jumps up and down shouting that it is trapped.

34 - Stefareth - Human Necromancer is getting impatient while waiting in the main tunnel.

61 - Vanathradil - Elf Mage moves out to the main tunnel.

42 - Aleric - Dwarf Cleric casts Protection from Petrification on Damon.

65 - Grom Grombly - Half-Orc Shaman waits in the main tunnel.

77 - Aurelia - Elf Cleric stays in the room with her Globe of Protection.

10 - Squee - Goblin Thief runs out of the room in case of traps.

21 - Danric the Exiled - Human Paladin stays in the room, amulet in hand.

56 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior inserts the hornet key into the chest and turns it clockwise. With an audible click, the chest springs open.
Metal plates slide into place over the other two keyholes preventing anything being put in them.
Inside the chest you see a golden helmet, two matching daggers with rubies in the hilts, a short sword with a blue gleam along the blade, two pouches full of gold coins.

56 - Damon18 - Damon - Dwarf Warrior earns the achievement *Bearded Yoda*

To sum up the room, I thought it was quite a simple one to work out. The drawing of the circular room (you all started in a circular chamber) with a chest that had a Hornet on it should point to the hornet key being the one to use.
If you had tried the other keys the chest would have exploded in your faces, the Globe of Protection may have saved those nearby but they would have been stunned nonetheless. The two secret doors would have slid open allowing werewolves and vampires into the room and I would have been very surprised if everyone survived the attack.

"Could someone inspect and identify these items? They surely have some magical properties. Also, I think Damon deserves to take whatever he wants to. After all, he risked his own life."
