Still buying music on CD (or LP or MC). I just get it digitally if there is no other choice or it is way too expensive. Streaming music is an absolute no-go for me.
Sometimes blanks because the car only plays Audio CDs :)
I'm playing Cradle of Filth on yellow and black "marbel" vinyl right now. If only MP3's looked that cool. :D
I prefer CDs over "purely" digital, however considering my taste in music (ambient) I often don't have the option.
Most artists I listen to choose not to release their music on CD, if they do its usually in highly limited number.
Cost is another issue, a CD will set me back $10+ but a non-physical copy only half of that.
I don't think buying it on CD means that the artists gets more money from it, considering production costs.
I buy most of my music through places like eMusic and Bandcamp, places that give you a proper copy of the album, much like DRM-free games. I do frequently listen to CDs though.
I had a phase when I bought a ton of CDs, nowadays I only buy music if the CD/LP is really good or just not availiable on youtube or spotify. I would never buy digital copies, especially not when it's so easy to make a digital copy yourself from a CD.

I very very rarely listen on these actual CDs/LPs though, I just buy them because it's nice to own. It's the same with movies, I like physical copies of the good ones but watch through digital means.

I have one of them. Styx Paradise Theater. Great album and the etching is pretty nice. Shame they didn't do many of them.

You totally need to get one of these. It looks even cooler than vinyl while it's actually all digital! My niece loves this thing! You surely wanna be as hip as a four-year-old, don't you?

Hahah that is pretty cute.
I still prefer having physical media (CD, DVD, Video Games, Books) whenever possible.
I used to buy physical until my last purchase, which was on iTunes. I have a bit of preference for physical, but would buy digital if it's easily available or significantly cheaper (which was the case with my last purchase).
When I buy music, I buy it on CD. I don't like iTunes or any of the other "music rental services" out there. Haven't bought a PC game on CD in many years, though.

F4LL0UT: How do you guys feel about this?
I nearly always buy CDs, the only time I might buy a digital only version it's either for things that are available in FLAC or don't exists on CD.
I don't actually think I've bought any music in about six years. Not that I pirate it - I'm just quite content to listen to whatever plays on the radio or on Spotify in the background. If something really does take my fancy enough for me to appreciate it, then I buy it on CD and rip it as a FLAC file.

I buy movies on Bluray. I only buy DVDs if the film is not available on Bluray and is unlikely to appear on Bluray for various reasons. I've never bought a digitally distributed film, and most likely never will.

My digital/physical gaming purchase ratio was around 30/70 until last year, but some very unpleasant experiences with Steam, the impending death of Desura, GOG's switch to regional pricing and the inability to carry over previous PSN purchases to the PS4 mean I've gone back to buying almost exclusively physical and only games with no online DRM, which means I buy next to nothing for PC nowadays. I don't think I've bought a full-priced game for the PC since 2012. I buy bundles, and I bought a few things in the GOG summer sale and a couple of games in the Steam summer sale, but nothing of particular note.
I wonder what future civilisations will think of us when their archaeologists stumble upon a billion AOL CDs?
