Ironically, Ittle Dew 2 was a Nicalis title that was supposed to come to GOG before Nicalis stopped it, and now that they are free from Nicalis, it appears GOG rejected Ittle Dew 2.

EDIT: Great games but bad company.

Download the Studio Pixel original Cave Story for free on their website.

Thanks for the game and for bringing "The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth" here (no GNU/Linux version though :/).
Would be nice to have "The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb" (v1.666 Eternal Edition) in future as well.
HUZZAH!
Didn't Nicalis take down a port of the original version of Cave Story when supposedly they only own the publishing rights for Cave Story+?

Also I remember reading some bad stories about Nicalis, but I'd need to dig them again.
I hope isaac rebirth has achievements that would be awesome
Finally, I finally have a reason to buy The Binding of Isaac Rebirth... a game I've been playing on a off for years...

...too bad the linux version isn't here.

Maybe in 10 years.

Still waiting to have a good way to buy the game...

Isn't The Binding of Isaac a Flash game wrapped with a Flash Player executable? If it is, while not ideal, I remember reading something about a port of Flash Player for Linux, and that people can extract Flash games from Windows executables.

Finally Cave Story+ is getting a GOG release! Thank you Nicalis and GOG!

It looks like I'm over the Binding of Isaac, since I don't feel anything about its release. There was a time when I was actually hyped about this game, must have been when Humble Bundles were actually DRM-Free, but I never got it then, and I'm not seeing myself playing it now.
Great titles! I own them on Steam, but I'm glad they are arriving here soon.
Thank you for the freebie, Nicalis, Inc. Team and GOG Team. You guys and gals are on a roll today with 2 freebies lol!

dtgreene: (By the way, be aware that Nicalas has not exactly been the most ethical company. In particular, apparently Nicolas cheated Pixel Studio out of the rights to Cave Story. Therefore, you might want to decide if it's ethical to purchase these games at all, and if you're an indie game developer, I would stay away from Nicalas.)

Schwertz: Indeed. They have, as well, demonstrated aggressive behavior against the fan-made projects, based on the original free of charge game. So, no money for the Nicalis.
GOG's curators should have known better and placed the original Pixel's game in the store.
Thanks for sharing. I knew until this morning somewhere else.
Did some quick read and I choose to say thanks but decline the freebie and stay away fron Nicalis.
Maybe self further investigation (IF it happens) could change my mind...
