Mindboggling... This adds a whole new meaning to DRM: Dough Recipe Management, to be precise. :\

Starmaker: fuck it fuck it fuck it fuck everything fuck the universe

...There's DRM on this thing. I'm sorry, I can't even.
Wow. I'm not even sure what to say.
I guess they're trying to maximize profits, but not letting you use your own dough really ruins this for any non-American customers, since I'm guessing shipping costs would make the pods way too expensive. Too bad, it's a pretty good idea otherwise.
I can't believe no one has linked to this one yet:

Lynn and the Spirits of Inao

An absolutely gorgeous 2D side-scrolling adventure game that is smothered with Studio Ghibli aesthetics. The visual style and smooth animations definitely have a Hayao Miyazaki flair and the music could easily be composed by Joe Hisaishi in disguise. The early bird tier is already sold out, but the reward tiers are quite affordable and offer a wide range of incentives, both digital and physical. While not clearly marked as such on the campaign page, the developers have confirmed in the Comments section that the PC release will be offered with a DRM-Free option.

Also, a project I mentioned a few pages back is making a second attempt:

Demoniaca: Everlasting Night

Billed as "King of Fighters meets Castlevania", the game's aesthetics and play style definitely support this claim. The developer is offering both standard and uncensored versions of the game, so they are definitely catering to the pubescent male demographic a fair bit. Still, that being said, the project's goal is modest, the reward tiers are sensibly priced and offer a nice assortment of digital and physical goodies, and the game will be DRM-Free.

I might go for it now then, as the two or three times I checked it before there was no word about any drm-free version. I would like them to address it in the main page, though. It's less shady...

... Ok, I checked the comments section and they will offer a drm-free version from their webpage. Not really fond of that. We'll see.

I hear you. I wish it was mentioned on the main page or at least in the reward tiers themselves. Still, I am glad that it is being offered. That is good enough for me because I really want to play this game. ^_^
The Darkest Night 2nd Edition kickstarter is online. Best tabletop game is best (1 to 4 players, 6 with variant rules).

It's $109 for the game with standees (equivalent to 1st edition base game + 5 expansions + moar!) and $149 for the game with standees AND plastic minis. Shipping is paid later; Brazil and Russia shipping is through the roof for them for whatever reason (they don't publish the numbers for fear of of bad press) so I recommend you look into intermediaries if you intend to pledge.

Copper Dreams by Whalenought Studios (devs of Serpent in the Staglands)

A CRPG featuring cyber-espionage on the edge of the galaxy. Turn based combat with timed actions, stealth and chainsaw arms.

from FAQ:
DRM-Free
We intend on providing copies through our own store DRM free, and would love to be on GOG again as well. We're planning to reach out to them and once we have distributors decided, we'll be giving you the option in a survey to choose.

Release Platforms
The game will be released on PC, Mac and Linux.

I came here to post about Copper Dreams but Cyboff beat me to it! :-D
I think the project looks really interesting for fans or hardcore in-depth tactic games!
StarFlint the Blackhole Prophecy

Join Trixie and Flint as they confront the dark galaxy. An adventure game where your choices will control their story !
There are a lot of action RPGs and roguelikes out there, but what makes this interesting is the setting:

Fabular: Once upon a Spacetime

Fabular: Once upon a Spacetime is a 2D Action-RPG in Space with Roguelike influences, set in a medieval, folktale-inspired fantasy universe.

As a young knight, go on an adventure in a surreal, storybook-like galaxy in your trusty spaceship. You need to be skillful in battle, upgrade and manage your ship well, and make the right choices during encounters. Only then will you be able to defeat the dreadful League of Black Knights who terrorize the realm.

Also, another shoutout for Copper Dreams

It's an isometric, party-based, turn-based, pen-and-paper-inspired game in a dystopian cyberpunk setting. Think an isometric Escape from New York, or Deus Ex.

System Shock Remastered KS campaign has a launch date: June 29.

source: https://www.facebook.com/NightDiveStudios/
Niche

Niche is a mixed genre game about the scientific topic of population genetics. Shape your animal tribe and find an ecological niche for it to live in! The main goal is to keep your tribe alive against all odds, such as hungry predators, climate change and spreading sickness.

They cite Creatures, Spore, and Don't Starve under their inspiration. There's a demo available on their website. Fully funded (over 3x their initial goal), five days to go, and from the FAQ:

Will there be a DRM-free version included in the Fantastic Fox reward?

Yes, the finished game will be available DRM-free. We still have to decide how exactly we want to handle it (itch.io, GOG, Download from our website,...).

Please note that the Rapid Raccoon tier includes an Early Access Steam Key only (no DRM-free version here).
Copper Dreams is pretty close to 75% funded with 10 days to go. Not a horrible place to be and I think they can make their goal with the surge that is usually seen in the last 2 days of KS campaigns... Still, they shouldn't have such a hard time reaching a modest funding goal... They deserve to reach a stretch goal or two. I hope some Kickstarter celeb like Brian Fargo gives them a shout out soon.

... and another great looking and promising turn based rpg:

Stygian - A Lovecraftian Computer RPG

Unfortunately there's no word of a possible DRM-Free version yet, so no backing from me. I hope that changes, as I really like the art style and the archetypes.

They're GOG users and they want to release it here.

The art style is absolutely awesome.
