ddickinson: Nope, I don't own it. I probably will at some point, as I did like Richard and Alice, but I will probably get it another time.

I won't ask how you are, not because I want to be rude, but due to Fearful beating me to it and not wanting to make you repeat yourself. :-)
Ah okay, no need to rush :)
Yep, thank you, won't then.
Has your week been pleasant?
avatar
akhliber: I'm having a pretty wonderful day, thanks! I'm hoping one day I can convince the lady to move. I'd love to live somewhere colder. I miss the snow something awful.

My only real plan is to do something with my mother and to take Sarge for a walk now that he's had just over a week to heal. He's doing pretty good, but he's been a bit grumpy since his surgery. He felt better very soon after and just wants to run and jump and play hard so bad it's making him stir crazy, but we've been finding ways to get the wiggles out. I'm thinking he's finally ready to get back to going on some walks, though we'll probably start really small.

Other than that, I'll probably laze around with the lady some, play some Stardew Valley (which I'm probably going to start here in just a bit) and maybe experiment with baking some strawberry bread (blame DD and Agent both for that.) :)
I'm kind of torn up about the weather. I always feel like I freeze my ass off in winter but then in summer I feel like I'm melting. And I live in a very mild, temperate climate. I guess my body just hasn't learned how to regulate warmth and cold. :P Snow's pretty awesome, though. We haven't had a lot of it this year, though. We did have some freak weather where everything iced over and you could go ice skating on the streets. Which many people did.

Ah yeah, it's always pretty difficult when pets have to get surgery. I hate that you can't explain to them what's going on. :P I hope he'll be right as rain again in no time. I hope you have a good weekend with your mother and Sarge and such. :)

Hmmmmmm strawberries. So tasty. :)

akhliber: Hello there! Once someone has paid you some wiggly-things and the peppers are complete, could you kindly remove them from a slice? I'd just do it myself, but with my luck, the wiggly-thing will be hiding under some cheese or something and I'll eat it by mistake. ;)

Haven't picked up Kathy Rain, but it looks interesting. I'm going to knock out a few adventure games before picking more up, but this will surely be one I keep my eye on.
Yeah, I'll be keeping an eye on it too. I have a good feeling about it. But so far my game-time has been saturated with BGEE and some other games, that I don't see any point to buy even a great game until something is finished :)

Okay, I'll be on the lookout, alert as a hawk for any wiggly-things attempting to sneak into the pizza :)
*tries to imitate at least some kind of a fierce bird, ends up leaning more into penguin than anything hawky*

by the way, have you beat Baldur's Gate yet? :)

FearfulSymmetry: I went to check out a studio this Wednesday but unfortunately I didn't get it. The housing corporation works based on a point system (you get a point for every month you're signed up) and I'm kind of on the edge of having just enough/not quite enough points. So I'll just keep trying. Another housemate is moving out in July and I really don't want to be stuck here after almost everyone else is gone. And thanks for the offer about chat. :)

That sounds really awesome. Can't even remember the last time I went swimming. I think I'd have to buy a new bathing suit first. :)

Hahaha, fair enough. The KOTOR games are really good though, if you like RPGs. I don't own them on GOG yet (I have the physical CDs) but even so I'd say they'd probably be my favourite games on this website. :P

*silly hug with a dance*
Fingers crossed then that you have better luck soon. It won't be nice being stuck there on your own once once your other housemate moves out. Hopefully you can find somewhere nice without a jerk landlord. *big good luck hug*

You could always swim naked, I hear that is big in many parts of Europe. :-) *big silly hug*

Really, that does sound like high praise. Maybe one day I will check them out, but I think with me not really being in the mood for gaming and having many games still unplayed, I sill pass for now. But I will take a look one day after hearing your praise for them.

*big return hug while doing a silly dance*

I am glad to hear you are doing fine, but sorry about your tiredness. Are you getting things all ready for your travels to Asia soon?

My week has not been that good, but nothing I need to bother anyone about. At least I have been feeling better over the last half a day, so it is not all bad.

Exactly. And I'm still scared the bailiff will come by to take away my things. :P *thank you hug*

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't appreciate it around here, though. :P And although I live next to a canal it's not really the kind of water you want to risk swimming in ... Botulism would probably be the least of my concerns. :P

Well, have a look at your chat, then. ;) And don't worry about not having time/energy to play it soon, just leave it for when you get around to it. :) To be honest I like the second game more than the first one, but I think playing them in order would be better. (Of course I played them the wrong way around the first time ... :P)

*more hugs*
Can you please give Fearful a big +1 for being her lovely and generous self. Thank you.

That must be a terrible thought. I hope it will not come to that and that you can be out of there sooner rather than later. *even more good luck hugs*

Yes canals are not the nicest places to swim. But there are places all over Europe that would not mind, and I know it would make Endre's day while he is looking through his telescope. :-) *more silly hugs*

Thank you so much. You did not have to do that, but thank you very much. *biggest ever thank you hug*

Yeah, it's pretty disconcerting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'll find something soon too. :P

Haha, that is true. Maybe some day I'll go on a holiday to such a place. But I'd make sure Endre is not in the vicinity first. :P

Don't worry about it. *big hug*

So Endre will need a good disguise then if he wants to see. Maybe he can dress up in lederhosen and try to blend in with the locals? :-)

Or he could try impersonating a tree or a rock. :P

I just always tend to think it's too hot for some reason. So I moved to Florida. Haha. Still trying to make sense of my own logic, or lack thereof. Oh wow, I would so love to just go outside and go ice skating in the streets. That sounds like a lot of fun.

Sarge seems a lot happier today, as we're playing a bit harder and I'm letting him run around a bit. He'll be better in no time, I'm sure, now that he doesn't have to stay calm and/or cooped up and can get a little more energy out. When I first took off his e-collar, he was so excited, then after about an hour he picked it up and brought it to me and sat there, trying to put his head back through the hole. I guess he thought it was a permanent addition to his wardrobe, haha. Now that he understand it's not, he seems quite pleased.

I hope you have a lovely weekend as well!

But then he could not walk around and go for closer looks, plus he would be stuck there all day, while if he can walk around wearing nothing but his lederhosen then he can at least do things while enjoying the sights. ;-)

I'm kind of in the same spot, so wrapped up in so many games that I don't see much point in buying games just for the sake of getting a good deal these days. If it's something I'm really excited about I'll make an exception (and I still make far too many exceptions) but I'm toning it down a bit more all the time as I watch my backlog build. :)

I haven't yet even played more Baldur's Gate since we last spoke, if I recall correctly. I kind of got a bit over-worried about the pup (the lady calls me his mama, as I can't help but baby and spoil him and over-worry) and didn't do much at all in the way of gaming this past week. I opened Cornerstone a couple times for some lighthearted gamepad fun, but otherwise I've been completely wrapped up in watching him and keeping him company.

Oh, wait! I did play one more time, I believe, and I'm in the Fisherman's Village maybe? I'm still in Chapter 3, but maybe cleared a couple more maps. Forgot I'd put in one little play session the day he came home. :)

Ah, but you live in the state of Disney World and Harry Potter World! My not-so-secret dream is to go there one day. I might even get around to it sometime in the next two years or so. :P But you're right, the heat would drive me crazy. I can't deal with that at all.

That's good to hear. And haha, him bringing back the collar is really cute. :P My mother has taken her dog on a holiday to France, and she sent me a movie the other day of the dog swimming in a stream and trying to catch a fish. That was pretty sweet too. :)

Thanks!
***I hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend! I'll surely be around lurking more throughout the day, but may well be outside for most of it, so if I continue to talk it be via tablet (and therefore either formatted horribly or just coming as posts and not replies)

*big hugs and waves all around*

Much love to all of you!

But I don't think lederhosen will be very inconspicuous for some reason. :P Unless it's Oktoberfest or something. *silliest hug*

What I do like about this warm weather is that it gives me a great excuse to wear all my lovely dresses and skirts. *evil cackle*
