ddickinson: Hello! *big wide away hug* :-)
The day is not too bad here either, with a lovely cold breeze. I am doing good for the most part, thank you. A bit of a mixed week, but since yesterday evening I have been feeling a lot better for some reason. I hope you and Sarge will have a lovely relaxing day. Do you have anything special in mind to bake, or will you just wait and see what you can make with the ingredients you have?
How are you liking the weekend/Star Wars sales?
*how strange... re-writing this after my reply window suddenly reloaded and lost my text... new forum bug or I goofed somehow I guess
I went for a short walk late last night, and there was such a lovely cold breeze. Mixed weeks aren't the most exciting, but I'm at least glad you're ending the week on a better note and feeling much better. I've had a slight taste of that on the emotional spectrum this week, but physically, while I've been worsening a bit again, it's decided to become a very slow process this time around, so it's really nothing beyond somewhat-slightly-frustrating at worst. And this morning I feel like I could eat a small town. ;) Should get much better after an upcoming procedure too, and quite honestly this has been the easiest of the "worsening" cycles yet, so that's a pretty good sign. Of what, I haven't a clue, but I don't care much either. It's nice. :)
No clue what to bake yet, and it will depend on what's here at the house, but I'm hoping I'll have all I need to make some kind of bread. I am really craving bread right now. I'm likely an awful cook (my big crush on cooking didn't really happen fully until shortly after I became physically ill and couldn't eat solid food myself, but it seemed like a nice way to stay connected to food, and to have something nice for the lady when she got home from work. As she'd be extra-exhausted, she'd appreciate whatever I made, but as a result I don't exactly have a very accurate, or unbiased, gauge of just how bad my cooking is. But it's always fun, and today I plan to take whatever I've baked and transfer it to my face. Hongry. :)
I picked up Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, as it looks really interesting, but otherwise I think i have all the Star Wars games I'd enjoy and be able to successfully play. I'm awful at space shooters, so when I do play something like that I'll go for something very new so I can at least hope for smoother controls and a UI that isn't too dated for me to make sense of. There are a few adventure games I don't have that look interesting, but then, I have a bunch of adventure games I haven't played yet sitting on my shelf, so I don't think I need to pick any up. In another few months, another sale, perhaps I'll change my mind about that. How about yourself? Anything you're excited about?
