ddickinson: I have never played it. it seemed okay if I remember correctly, but it has some very brad translations and things, which is apparently what the remake fixes, or at least tries to. The specs seem a bit high for the graphics given the look of the game, but I guess it will allow people to try the game who were put off by the older version. Do you like any of the releases today?

Well it is just a little trinket kind of present, just something silly. It is a love heart shaped box full of little scrolls each with something written on it for my partner to redeem when ever she likes. A bit like I.O.U.s. There are also a few blank ones for her to make up her own wishes on them. It is just something silly I do now and then.
My mothers gift is a lovely necklace she has been wanting for some time. The 30th of this month was a very important day for her, and always get her a present, even though most people think that is a little strange. But I think it is more important to her than anyone.
Ho yeah... I remember having read about the lame translations... hum... I've put it on my wishlist so I'll remember to look a little more closer at it when it gets released :)
Hoooo what a lovely present :) reminds me a special "Advent calendar" I made for my partner, years ago... with little felt pyramids (each with a number, for days), hanging on a tree branch that I painted in silver... each pyramid contained a little present, either a real thing or a voucher for something special (could be a massage, a film show...). It was nice... I had much more spare time back then :-p
Well, it's a great idea, and I'm sure your mom will be very happy to get this necklace she had been wanting... :)) (and it doesn't matter if some people think it's strange... tant pis !!) ;-)
