Perhaps in the past using the downloader you haven't had to (I don't know, I don't use the downloader) but with Browser downloading you sometimes need two, three or even more files - all in the same place.

And I'll reiterate redownloading if you still can't get it working - something may have gotten borked sailing down those intertubes ;)
hi thanks but iv really tried everything i have never had issues in past. none of my games will open from the orange gog setup box. i cant contact gog cos my query wont send without a file sent of my computers tech info which i dont know how to do...so frustrating ive downloaded with three different exploers incase that was it...but dunno..thanks all for tryna help though

Crewdroog: Yeah, I totally forgot about that. I hear Trent's original now and it just doesn't feel the same. Cash's was just so gripping and sad. I mean damn sad. Trent's is pretty, Cash's is real.

CarrionCrow: To me, it's two life experiences affecting the song. With the original, it's someone who's miserable, full of self-loathing and expressing that no matter how hard they try, they'll always fail anyone they care for and mess them up in the process.
With Cash, it feels like someone who's got a long lifetime of screw-ups and regret that are eating them alive, more so since any tiny chance to make things better is gone since those involved have died and he's the only one left. So now he's just stuck waiting to die himself with nothing but ghosts in his head.

Have you tried restarting your computer, something is screwed up there.
All you need to do to get the report is run a program called dxdiag from your menu run or search box.
It will export a report to a file you can send.
Try the computer restart first.

twanface83: hi guys, i need help, in the past iv had no difficulty, but now i am trying to open the setup for a game i have downloaded and literally nothing is happening, not even after an hour of waiting, gog installer doesnt work anymore so have downloaded through windows. but wont even open
I didn't see you post. Another thing you may want to do is visit the game's page. it may be a problem other people have had with the game. Also, if you post your problem on that game's specific forum, others may also be able to help you out. otherwise, contact support?

oh and make sure the setup is allowed to actually run on your system. right click on the setup icon and look for "properties" then make sure your computer didn't set it as "blocked" or something with security. also, try running it as an administrator.

We're going to need a .gif with something like "Stop! Put... the pinata... down." I didn't dive in but I like that this time GoG let us just buy one at a time. I remember a few sales where you had to buy more than just one thing at a time to get a chance at the random / unknown games. I probably should have tacked one on my Van Helsing order, but I passed on a game in the regular part of the sale and so I decided not to go with a random.

On a side note - did anyone notice that the Pinata countdown changed to "Over in 2Days X Hours etc etc etc..." Any word on if GoG is switching up the pinatas again or are they just going to let this batch of sales / pinatas ride until the end? Or is it still an unknown?

Looks like they're sticking with what's shown for the sale and whatever's left for the random items until it ends.
Figuring that since they were changing the sales along with the randoms whenever the timer ran down.

I refuse to look at the store page anymore. Besides, I know if I click on it i'm gonna get Torchlight and NO WAY will i ever be able to give that key away. hahaha.
