Just added it to checkout (a minute + to go) and its displaying at full price. I'll wait for the next time around ;-)

Just like the old days....

If you want the experience of shutting your groin in a car door without having to go outside, you could always buy Fahrenheit or Anomaly Defenders. =)

Hey, now that's tempting... It'd be cheaper to slide down the banister (polished wood) in the nude for a similar result, and save some time too ;-) I appreciate your suggestion, though.

Hell, it'd be less painful also.

If you don't already have it, Painkiller is a good FPS that's cheap at the moment.
It doesn't have a sword, but it does have a whirling blade that you can chop up enemies with.

I've got it, and its great insane fun. Many a villain has been shredded and his soul absorbed ;-)

Far Cry is another good one (first half better than second, and a great sniper rifle). Nothing quite like knocking off the baddies with a variety of progressively extreme weapons and seeing them disintegrate (not in Far Cry, but you know what I mean) ;-)

I can start playing that one now, since I picked it up during the sale.
Had the second for a while, but didn't want to play games out of sequence.
I'm out of here. Enjoy yourselves, people ;-)

Talk with you later on, sleep well when you get there. =)

The first is a blast. The second got a bit too into atmosphere and realism and kind of lost momentum (general consensus), where #1 was funny and larger than life. Load it up and start cleaning up the place ;-)

'Night ;-)

Night Stilton, sleep well.
Steam's sales start today, and it's worrying how popular something can stay on name alone. Steam sales are dead, they reigned in the prices and discounts a few years ago.

GoG and others have better prices, even comparing full price. For example, Steam's sale of To The Moon at 75% off is still 50% more expensive than it was on GoG just yesterday. Someone mentioned Outlast, I got that last year on GoG for the same price it is now on Steam, despite it being '80%' off, and it has been on sale on GoG many times since.

But people are waiting (for a steam sale) just so they can spend more than they would've spent earlier elsewhere. Crazy.

Just a few weeks ago, I had mentioned to a friend how this dude was lightsaber dueling against Yoda at an age, most of us would be in our strollers looking for our next Soap Opera fix. Then this happened and I am flabbergasted.

Great man, from what I observed of him.

I think Lee did a better job acting than a lot of the other actors in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
Well, I'm the idiot that wanted rain, we got it!
We're now being advised to find higher ground to park our cars on.
Anyone want a nice canoe ride down my street? :-)
