CarrionCrow: If you make the buzzing noise during, your shieldmaiden might start looking at you funny...;)

Stilton: Or roll up a newspaper and hit me ;-)
-laughs- I figured she'd eventually ask if your helmet was on too tight.

Beats anything for viking overload ;)
Excellent ;-)
Also, for any musicians, would be musicians, or anybody who likes talking into a microphone: Guitar Center is selling Izotope Nectar Elements for $9.99, which normally sells for $99.99 I believe. You can download a demo from Izotope's website. I've demoed it myself and it's a great (albeit limited) tool for vocals (or any instrumental really), with a particularly great sounding reverb. The offer ends on Monday (in the US) I believe, so you'd probably want to grab it asap if you're interested.

It might even degenerate into one of those 'PUT YOUR BIG TOE IN YOUR MOUTH!!!' situations. Clank, clank, scrape...

Will it make my singing sound less like a cat in a Cuisinart? =)

(I'm probably asking far too much of the program...)

CarrionCrow: If you want sadder, that's what my downloader does at top speed for this dusty shithole.

Can't wait for a major company to get into this market so the local podunk net providers get their teeth kicked in and go out of business.
Yep, that's about what I average as well (when the internet is working at all, of course). I'm forced to do serious downloading over at my mother's place, she's got a decent connection.

We've been to Sweden twice, in summer ... in the province where Gothenburgh lies (Vastergotland-something)
Never seen any country quite like it ... and amiable people ;)

I even picked up some swedish:

*mumbled* heukebeukekiekeneuke; knackebrod, joajoa, mjolk, *loud and triumphant* Ikeeja :D

Gauls, especially those of ancient Belgian descent are among the few who get to mock vikings :p

I guess I'm lucky having a decent connection, sorry if I sounded like I was bragging, I wasn't.
I live near 5 major ISP's, in competing with one another they have to provide decent service.

My only exposure to Sweden is ABBA and Kurt Wallader, both of whom I like very much, by the way ;-)

Didn't process it as such, if anything you're fortunate.
Wouldn't want your speed to go to shit to make me feel better about mine being garbage. -laughs-

Well, if you drown your voice in reverb then you can definitely sound good or err...passable, it worked for Vince Neil back in the day!
