Hello again, everyone!

EndreWhiteMane: Slowly getting better, thanks. The ice and knee brace help.
Arthritis and too many years of squatting down to work on computers.
I am glad it is getting better, I will keep my fingers crossed it will heal quickly. If only Crow had agreed to put on the nurse uniform and come look after you, I bet you would be all better now. anything to avoid another bed bath. :-)

I think you missed chasing all the young nurses off the list of reasons you have a bad leg. :-)

CarrionCrow: It's not a love, it's more like a feeling of, "Well, for some reason I felt the desire to buy this. And since I spent money on it, I'm going to play it, whether it's good or bad."
Thankfully, I haven't done that very often, in the overall view of what I've got.
If I had nothing but games like Soulstorm or Planet Stronghold, I'd take up a less painful hobby.
At least you are playing some games you are enjoying now. I was getting worried you really did have some desire to punish yourself with bad games. :-)

I can understand your reasoning. I have a few games on my shelf that I don't really like, but I paid for them, so I will play them. Most of the games I am not keen on came from the mutator promo, as I tend to be quite careful with buying games, hence the small wishlist.

AgentBirdnest: You are definitely right. The more we bring it up, the more likely it is that someone will get offended. I tend to get a bit carried away.
Yeah, you are such delicate types across the pond, you get upset over the silliest things. :-)

CarrionCrow: It depends. The stuff that's a high priority to me won't be part of any weekend sale any time soon, they're too expensive, too recent.

Also, Transistor makes me think of cyberpunk. Cyberpunk is one of my absolute favorite genres.

-laughs- There's a thought. An NSA operative, using a forum mod position as a cover, all the way to the hiding in plain sight tactic of streaming games and including their own voice in the recordings.
It sounds like the perfect plan. Build up a rapport with the community, earn their trust, then do what ever it is the NSA does. It is always the ones you least expect, and who would suspect a covert agent hiding in plain sight. :-)

ddickinson: Hello again, everyone!
Good morning! I hope you have been well!
So I decided to go ahead and spurred by the overall positive feedback, publish the two short stories I've been buggering some threaddites (they know who they are) for the past few days to read and review.

Here's the link if anyone cares to have a read.

Now I think I'll pick up TLJ where I left it.

How are you, is your day at work going okay? How is the Owl world conquest simulation coming? :-)

akhliber: Good morning! I hope you have been well!
Hello! A relatively new face on the thread, that is always nice to see. :-)

I am doing very good, thank you. How about you, is your day off to a good start?

I actually very much want to see what CDProjekt comes up with Cyberpunk 2077.

If they have only half the love they show for the witcher, it'll be awesome. And I think they might like it as much or even more.

Bonus points for the creator of the game and game consultant not being a pompous ass.

Yep, did some documentation and now I am adding the next stage to the simulation :D

These are Endre Approved™ and very worth the read. :-)

So there are several stages. I wonder if taking all the stars if the final stage, or if Owl has even more plans for humanity after all the stars are hers. :-)

I am glad that things seem to be going well with your simulation.

I've lurked in this thread but don't often feel I've much of use to say. ;).
My day is off to an excellent start, thank you!

Of course there are several stages, this star collecting is serious business ;-)
Can't tell you about other plans, I signed a confidentiality agreement :P

Who needs marketing when you have a forum and fellow thread users? :-)

An NDA within the thread? A sure sign of our ultimate demise! ;)

Well it is nice to see you posting, even if it is not very often, :-)

Glad to hear your day is off to an excellent start. Do you have anything nice planned for the day?

Can't tell you about other plans, because I am scared Owl will get me :P
There you go, I fixed it for you to be more honest. :-)
