This gets the most adamant, emphatic and resounding meh from me.

While I am thrilled to have another modern RPG available on GOG that isnt god awful isometric perspective, The Outer Worlds is such a terribly meh game from beginning to end.

In all fairness it was built around the same logic as Bethesda RPGs so given that they too are also bland and meh, TOW simply cannot escape its DNA.

Again, glad to have it here and I will own it on GOG. I just wont be paying anywhere near full price for it. At this point given that you can currently get a console copy for 20-35$ I wont buy it until its at least at 20$ or less cause honestly thats as much as the content is worth.

Honestly I enjoyed greedfall far more than TOW and I was unable to finish greedfall due to a game breaking bug. That is just how mediocre TOW really is. The entire time playing through TOW was me brute forcing myself through the uninspired content. But I am definitely not above buying and enjoying mediocre content. I just wont pay a premium price to do so. So that launch sale price needs to be at 20-25$ for the first couple days because if you try to launch this at 60$ people are not going to buy it because it is not worth it.

IDK, we didn't wait a year for all the Control DLC.

I blame that whole swarm of issues at play here on that weird Westminster style system of government some parts of the world are stuck with. They always boil everything down to exactly two either/or sides. And when you point that out to them they always say that's not the case, only to, just two sentences later, lob everyone not of their opinion into a single group once again. Whether it's "lefty", or "liberal" or something else. I have seen that movie before.

Anyway, this was a fun diversion while my dinner was heating up but the weather turned out surprisingly nice and I think I'd rather go and see if there is something in the garden I can get done. I'd prefer something more productive.
