AHF1349: They did this with SiN Gold. Version 1.11 (latest official from Ritual Entertainment) was replaced with version 1.13 (reworked by Nightdive).
That's exactly my fear !
Also, my 2 cents : I have no problem with the stylised svastikas in Bloodrayne 1. They fit well with the background, regarding the paranormal SS division.

This is awesome!!! Love these games and cannot wait for the FREE updates :)

Will we still be able to access the originals as well?
Haven't completed BloodRayne 1 and 2, will wait for an updated mod since I have zero hope for uncensored version.
low rated
Big tiddy gnatzee huntard will save the day. Hello fellow gamers.

Bloodrayne is cringe overload.
Well, that's some good news from GOG in months!
I will finally replay BloodRayne 1+2!

And you say original games were censored?! I played them years ago and never noticed that changes! Weird!
I see Rayne and I pine for the time when BloodRayne started its life as Nocturne 2 with Svetlana Lupescu as the lead. And then we ended up with... what we got.

And an Uwe Boll movie.
Awesome news! Both the games have been gathering virtual dust in my gog library.

MarkoH01: Did they ever replace a single game in your library with another for which they made a new gamepage? I am pretty sure it would not happen this time as well. They might replace the store pages but not your library entrys.
Hmm I was under the impression that Darksiders was fully replaced, but now that I checked the legacy edition is still available. Darksiders 2 only has the Deathinitive edition but I think that was the only version released here so that's not a case. Apparently my memory was tricking me.

That said, AHF1349's point about SiN Gold stands. Gog has a better track record than I thought but it is still not spotless. So I don't lose anything if I play it cautious until the new version releases.

The original Darksiders 2 was here, but it was removed from sale when Deathnitive Edition was released.

BloodRayne 2 was never censored.

All PC versions (as well as the European Xbox version) of the first BloodRayne had (almost) all its swastikas either replaced with a triskelion or removed.

More info about what was exactly censored can be found below (site is a bit NSFW):

But like the first Darksiders it wasn't removed from your library when you bought it before the Deathinitive Edition came out.

Correct in all points - I did not know about the Sin issue before so I am glad that he mentioned it and ... better safe than sorry :)

Ah ok. But I made a mistake above, thus M3troid's correction. So DS 2 isn't a case of replacement but not like I assumed.

Thanks, both of you

Ancient-Red-Dragon: That argument is just playing with semantics in order to 'justify' censorship of this game.

Contrary to what your argument is implying, the original PC version having been censored does not actually provide any reasonable justification whatsoever for this new so-called "definitive version" also to be censored.

If they let the Terminal Cut be censored too, then that's a new act of them unnecessarily re-bending the knee, to the great detriment of all their customers.

They ought not to do that. And if they are doing it, which seems to be the case based on everything I'm reading in this thread so far, then that's a shameful act on Ziggurat's and Terminal Reality's part.

amok: absoluttely your choice, and I dount it will be very detrimental, this is so minor that it is ridicilous you must really itch to see swastikas on a banner.

and in any case, if they are working on the PC version, then they are working on the PC version. It never had those swastikas , ever, so it is what it is
Well, the original PC version also never had good working gamepad support or high quality textures as well ;)
Regarding the "itch to watch swastikas" you are issing the point here. When it comes to censoring those who try to get things uncensored don't want to see as much swastikas and violence as posible, they simply want their games movies as they were originally intended before they decided to change things mostly for marketing/financial reasons.
