Many great games with great music. But for me the best is Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny.

It is really cinematic and epic. It really fits the mood of the game. I can still remember it blaring out of the speakers for the first time while the intro rolls. Fantastic!

There are so many games with beautiful music, but in terms of being memorable, I'd say Pokemon Red. The simple harsh tones of the city, the gloomy melodies of a forest, and the spooky harmonies of Lavender Town. It's music is catchy, simple, and just too hard not to hum.
My heart is telling me that the best game soundtrack is from Monkey Island series but... there is another. The year is 1998,
we are traveling through cosmos, stars, galaxies and planets pass us by. Soft orchestral music accompanies us, but then cames a flame that shapes into game title: Heart of Darkness. BOOM! Score pumps up, getting ominous and epic. We feel our blood rushes.

This score is made by Bruce Broughton and performed by Simfonia of London itself. It has all of Hollywood's qualities and scope. It's suits the action on screen perfectly: gentle and calm when our hero spend time with his dog friend. Bombastic and scary in the lair of Master of Darkness. Dreamy and strange when entering "another world" and playful after meeting our new, alien friends.

Heart of Darkness is very cinematic adventure and this music just adds another layer to it. It reaches John William's level of immersion, stays in background when it needs to but also strikes high its unique and catchy themes in just the right places.

In Heart of Darkness you're waiting for the end credits to roll, to turn the volume up, sit down and just listen to great piece of classical music. Simply amazing.
For me best game soundtrack has Dragon Age Origins.
There are other great soundtracks from games but this one just found it's way to my soul somehow.

I especially like the Main Theme & I still remember it to this day even though I have beaten the game 12+ years ago.
There is just something special about it that gives me a knot like feeling in my gut, a kind of happy, powerful and bitter feeling at the same time. Can't really describe it but I like it since it reminds me of olden times :)

La mejor banda sonora diría que es la del Metal Gear Solid de PS1, porque tiene una gran variedad de canciones que combinan perfectamente con cada pantalla y cinemática del juego. Además la mayoría de canciones son épicas y se quedan grabadas en la mente.

Very simple: Nintendo Super Mario tune. Why? So catchy, I'm whistling it just now... :-)
Honestly, the soundtrack from Heroes of Might and Magic III is super nostalgic and memorable to me. I grew up playing Heroes III with my siblings, it was one of our favourite games. We still play it to this day, it doesn't get old.
For me the most memorable game soundtrack is probably Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim soundtrack. It is so soothing to listen to. It's the soundtrack I think of when I need to calm down or when I'm at peace. It reminds me of my many moments in the game, but also inspires me to work on new games as well. Whenever I think of video game soundtracks, it's the first soundtrack that comes to mind.

Heroes of Might and Magic 6, very grand :D
For me it's definitely TES II: Daggerfall's soundtrack. It's basically my favourite Dungeon Synth album of all time, and is often my default choice for music to study, write or work to. It's such a great vibe.
Heroes II soundtrack. Will always remember listening in the basement with my friends, after a long evening of geeking out. Some of the best nostalgic times.
doom simple easy to remember everybody knows it after a couple if bars
First game soundtrack that comes to my mind as one of the best is Assassin's Creed series music. My favorite is AC2 first mission (tutorial) music by Jesper Kyd. Also Black Flag has a great pirate atmosphere with lively songs. Even the trailers are awesome using cool music like Woodkid.
DreamWeb's soundtrack was pretty great, the moody electronic music really enhanced the game's gritty and depressive atmosphere
