Jinxtah: I own all the fallout games already, but they're now named Fallout CLASSIC. I'm assuming they're exactly the same games, so what was the reasoning for doing it this way? It makes no sense that the new releases don't show up as being in my library, even though I clearly own them.
The Interplay versions marked "Classic" have more special features (which those that acquired them previously will get to keep), but the games themselves are virtually identical with Bethesda's versions, for the time being. In the future, if Bethesda decides to make additional improvements, those changes will not be carried over to the Interplay originals, although GOG will continue to support them.

Okay - the amazement & excitement are pretty much worn off, might just about get to sleep now :)

Thank you GOG.COM
Are the Doom games censored with no Wolf levels and med packs? Or are we getting the uncut versions? :)

So I'm ending my drought of not posting for about 5 months or so to post here on this thread. And my god does it feel good!

The Bethesda partnership is one that I DID NOT see coming. I was actually thinking about Morrowind when I decided to check up on gog to see about the new Pillars of Eternity expansion, and then BAM! There it was.

Honestly though, I'm at a bit of a predicament. I just finished Pillars on Monday after 65 hour playthrough that I've been at since April. And after I downed Thaos, I decided against playing another epic, long rpg for a while. Plus, well, school is starting up again and I need to focus on that...but there it is: Morrowind. One of the greatest games of all time on the greatest site of all time. This is tempting. Maybe at the next sale...
Oh hell yes.
I'm not sure about the legal status of that one..... but I'm all for the Keen games coming here!
Got a question:

I bought the Fallout Trilogy way back when GOG had it under Interplay. Does this mean I have to re-buy these titles if I all ready bought them before? I have Fallout Classic in my games list, but that's it.
For the die-hard fans who've already purchased the original Fallout games, where are our copies of Arena and Daggerfall? I feel as if we're being punished for having purchased the FO games long ago.
I own Fallout and Fallout 2 but it's telling me I need to buy them again to get the bonus discount for tactics... What gives?
Oh Well, May as well buy the pack since all three are the same price as Tactics alone. Maybe gift the order or something... I want GoG versions of Arena and DF so I gotta buy SOMETHING.

Wurzelkraft: What's the difference between the new and old Fallout releases? Any point in buying them again?
Not much, no point. Just download the latest patches and HD mod from online and you'll have the same thing.

I'm glad it's back in the store, but it's of little use to vets.

Those were the Interplay versions. You only get Arena and Daggerfall on GOG if you purchase a Bethesda Softworks LLC game.

Barry_Woodward: No. Free or not, those were the Interplay versions. You only get Arena and Daggerfall on GOG if you purchase a Bethesda Softworks LLC game.
I know, I was wondering about why I had to repurchase games I have to get the discount on Tactics. Not the Arena and DF downloads. :P I understand I have to buy SOMETHING, which is why I said that.
Don't use the linked versions of Daggerfall from Bethesda's site. The one you want is right here:
http://wiwiki.wiwiland.net/index.php?title=Daggerfall_:_DaggerfallSetup_EN

Bethesda's is vanilla unpatched without all the community bug fixes. (and presumably GOG's too as they don't include community patches/mods generally) The "ultimate edition" of Daggerfall at Wiwiland is the full CD version with all official patches and quest pack, community patches and bugfixes, optional extra content and is even multi-language.

Holy #@$&!#@ $#!*; they got Bethesda! YAY!
Awesome news! I still have my CE Daggerfall and my old Arena Box (3.5"). Have these games been made to work through Galaxy or do I have to go through the whole DOSBOX setup and what not?

Thanks,

Brohm
