Is Final Crisis part of the non-canon?
And what about Lord Death Man? Isn't he part of the canon?
In Zack Snyder I trust to give us great action scenes.

Death Man is immortal, so he wasn't killed. As to what in the hell Final Crisis is, I have no idea, and I read the damn thing, it's so bat-shit. Still, Batman didn't kill Darkseid, just seriosly wound and weaken him. He only died after th Flash lead the Black Racer (one of the manifestations of Death in DC universe) to him. And the Flash made it so he would be hit by his own "Omega Beams" at the same moment, if I remember right.

I can't for the life of me imagine what possessed them to pick Ben Affleck for another superhero rule... I think I'm yet to enjoy any movie where he was more than a supporting actor.

It's the main reason I have little to no hype about this movie, despite it linking to more justice league movies already in the works... more affleck... 'yay....'

Now Marvel's Daredevil, that's a daredevil to behold, that series is magnificent.

I'm going to wait until I see Affleck in the film before I give an opinion on his casting as there have been actors in past Batman films that people felt were not proper for the roles but they put in a good performance when the film debut (Michael Keaton, Heath Ledger)

I was under the impression that he could be killed, he would just return to life. Either way, not that it matters that much.

So once again, DC proves that it stands for Delicious Crack ;)

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to watch it. But given it's Ben Affleck rather than hoping in half expecting it to be awesome based on the subject matter, my love of movies like that, I'll be going in weary, hoping it's not going to be horrid because I don't have faith in the aforementioned.

Maybe I missed some great acting by him in recent movies since I've been avoiding him, I sure hope so if he's going to be portraying batman in at least 3 movies.

Watch The Town and Gone Girl which will make you more optimistic about Ben Affleck's acting prowess. Besides that they are also really good movies that people should watch if they haven't already.

In all honesty, I don't think Daredevil was his fault. Kind of like Green Lantern, people tend to blame the bad movie on the main actor, when there was really nothing more he could do with what he was given.
The setup, going by the trailer, is interesting and I liked the costume designs, especially that armored Batsuit we see near the end. But given who is involved in the project, actors and behind the scenes staff alike, I'm still wary of how it will turn out.

great for the first 60 seconds, excessive to the point of inducing a headache 30 minutes later.

Nah I love it all the way. There are much better action scenes than Michael Bay.

That's not saying much...

I'd rather see a superhero showdown movie featuring Pete Holmes as the black bonghead:
'Batman / Batman and Superman Team Up'

real.geizterfahr: Batman vs. Superman? A normal human being with too much money and funny gadgets vs. a flying, invincible, super being with laser eyes? If Batman doesn't bring some kryptonite, Superman wouldn't even have to move to win this fight. Just stay on the couch and wait for Batman to die from old age or exhaustion oO
Hey, you are forgeting Batman's main power/abilitie: what his writers imagine! :D
Batman seems too robotic; maybe to make up for Ben Affleck's lack of gravity or superhero presence... I thought Affleck did 'ok' as Daredevil.
