No, because Gal Gadot didn't competely fuck up the chance of us having a good Daredevil movie. I am still not over it.

I don't know, this has been going on ever since he was first announced as Batman, and I never really got the why of it. He's not a bad actor, and he fits Bruce Wayne pretty well. Is it becasue of Daredevil? That movie sucked, but it was not his fault. That would be like hating Chris Evans as Captain America because of Fantastic Four. I really don't know.

I would say its because of the whole Bill Maher fiasco.

But I'm not gonna let his political ideologies and thoughts get in the way of what I think of him as an actor.

I mean I tolerate Mel Gibson and admire his films.

so after some more time to think about this I'm pretty confident now that that's not Doomsday. it's not confirmed anywhere that it's Doomsday, people just like to keep saying it, but nowhere did people involved with the movie say that's Doomsday.

firstly there's the appearance. he's huge and rocky and such so people think he's Doomsday. but when you really look at it, his appearance is not so unlike some of the ways Bizarro has been portrayed here and there. Bizarro in the comics has often had a more textured look to his skin, in some cases getting very rough and almost rocky.

then there is his size, which, is obviously bigger than anything we've seen from Bizarro before. but, Bizarro has always had an increased physical presence than Superman. and it's down to individual portrayals to determine how much. Bizarro can actually get pretty beefy in some of his portrayals.

so these two elements which seemingly make him unlike Bizarro actually in fact could mesh with him being Bizarro, just a big budget movie version of him. I mean, movies usually do everything bigger and louder, right? Given what we've seen of Doomsday, then if he was in a movie, he should be like 2 stories tall and just a complete monster. based on the movie logic, this actually seems like a pretty poor Doomsday. Hulk is much bigger. Also, many folks insist that if you're gonna do Doomsday, you have to kill Superman. a lot of people rightly suggest that that doesn't feel right this soon. I personally hate characters like Bane and Doomsday who are interesting because they're supposed to be interesting. but there's no way they do Doomsday without doing that Superman sacrifice angle. and like people said, it seems early for it. also, with regards to Doomsday's look, the one most common element for him is his spike-beard. why doesn't he have the spike-beard? it makes no sense that's it not there.

then there is the fact that, well, as some people have fairly pointed out, he looks kinda stupid. if it's supposed to be Doomsday, how did that get pas QA? I think he looks kinda stupid because he's supposed to look kinda stupid. Bizarro's stupidness has always lent a kind of off-beat oddness to the character which only serves to increase his threat. you never know just quite what he is capable of doing because of the weird way he is. I think that's what they're trying to play up here.

I mean, what was the alternative? have Henry Cavill running around in a purple superman suit in white makeup acting all dumb? good luck pulling that off!

secondly, there's the origin. this doesn't mesh with Doomsday's origin. at all. they've already done Zod, they've already done Krypton, to the tune of fucking fist-fighting Jorel, so they're not afraid to get comic book on this. so change Doomsday's origin this much? Lex, however, did create Bizarro. zod is not really involved. however it is possible that this Bizarro is not just Zod's DNA but also Supermans. this is much closer to the origin of the character from the comics.

so, therefore, from all of this, especially when you factor in the origins, and the seemingly needless reason to modify Doomsday's so much, we must infer that it is actually quite likely this is Bizarro. the main point of contention is his appearance. when you consider that appearance is often the thing that changes most the minute comic books are moved to a different medium (X-men suits. Thor's costume. Batmobile. Arkham Harley Quinn. pretty much everything in Guardians of the Galaxy), and that usually this a good thing, then the weight that you afford this point of contention must somewhat diminish.

It's Bizarro. It's the fucking Tumbler Bizarro.. but it's Bizarro.

I needed a little time to get over how weak Doomsday looks, but they say he's not the only element, so I'm looking forward to it.

well, shit then. you have to wonder how the hell that Doomsday made the cut. stupid to do him this soon. so where does this leave Bizarro? probably nowhere. the monster Lex made is now Doomsday.

Bizzaro as is is too goofy for this movie and I agree.

We've got some Wonder Woman footage at last. Looks good, though I'm afraid it might end up being a little to much like DC's Captain America. I guess we'll just have to see. I really hope it's good, the genre desperately need new and fresh things.

The only way this thing will turn out good is in a "so bad it's good" type of way.
