Elmofongo: Especially about characters that are almost 100 years old. And had so many interpretations.

darthspudius: Pretty much. It's a never ending pointless fan boy discussion. It won't go anywhere. :D
What baffles me is moviebob, he proclaims this film to be "90s Comics: the movie"

Not realizing that the 90s gave us this:

Which this movie is certainly no gonna replicate nor Justice League.

I like the whole superstitious side of it. Some nice mythology and so on.

Hellboy was Image Comics yes?

Kinda sad Image could have formed a trinity between DC and Marvel. And Image could have made new characters by now.

That's Death and Return of Superman. After he came back he was initially almost without his powers, so he armed himself to take down the Cyborg Superman and Mongul who just destroyed Coast City.

Dark Horse, actually.

Who even is that, and why do you care so much what he says?

People constantly uses that arc as the whipping boy for how grim and dark Superheroes were back than.

But looking at the images now it looks hilarious. Besides that plot you just mentioned does not sound that bad compared to At Earth's End.

@Breja

Its because of how ridiculously irrational he views the current DC Movies.

Yes, but why is it so important that some random idiot on Youtube is being an idiot? I mean, looking at the number of views he's not so popular that his bullshit will is going to change anything. Just ignore him.

And of course he sucks Marvel Movie's dick like the fag that he is for the MCU which I am not that fond of as of late. Especially how unimpressed I was with Age of Ultron. And how annoying I thought Guardians of the Galaxy was.

Hurry up Marvel and bring us the freaking Infinity Gauntlet movie. Thanos is the only thing that's keeping me from not watching this universe.

And he pretty much convinced the entire Escapist community that DC is bad now :P

The trailer certainly sets up Batman's motivation well for picking a fight with Supes but as expected Zack Snyder being a self proclaimed Batman fanboy this whole movie judging by the trailer will completely short change Superman. We don't even hear a single line of dialogue from Henry Cavil in the entire trailer, thus so far Snyder seems to be undermining any potential for character development for this version of Superman that was setup in Man of Steel.

I like Batman as much as anyone else but why do we always have to see him as the ultimate bad ass capable of beating other Superheroes that he is no match for in all honesty. Don't get me wrong I am still intrigued to see how the whole movie plays out but I am not over hyped for it like many are after watching this trailer. Also Jesse Eisenberg looks set to ruin every scene he is in with his take on Lex Luthor which is just him doing his schtick like in every other movie similar to "the Social Network" or "Now you see Me".

That "Red capes are coming" line delivery was absolutely atrocious and cringe worthy IMO, so far Eisenberg has only proven that the skepticism regarding his casting as Luthor was right and a mature actor like Bryan Cranston or John Hamm would have been the better choice instead.
