Sarisio: I am more excited at high chances to get Oblivion on GOG next week :)
wait, wut? *ears perk up* what are these high chances that you speak of?
avatar
Elmofongo: Fallout should stay an Isometric turned based RPG not baby's first STALKER game.

Wasteland is just not is interesting and memorable as Fallout :P

Fallout has the benefit of ramping up the game speed at least making it not as slow as other similer RPGs.

Did Bethesda announce something?
VPN set up for when i get back from work tomorrow

Doc0075: Loved Fallout 3 and to a lesser extent NV so I'm looking forward to Fallout 4.
Have started the pre-download so that it is ready to play at launch time. I hope its a little less buggy than the last two games.

JinKazaragi: It's an open-world-bethesda game, of course it'll be buggy
I know it will be buggy, I said that I hope it is a little less buggy.

Nah, just wishful assumption, and Oblivion is relatively old game, just a little younger than Morrowund.

doomdoom11: I'm excited, but also skeptical at the same time considering how big of a step back Skyrim was.

The story campaign was such a let down in Skyrim - so short and underwhelming.

Also, the dungeons came in few flavors and were mostly linear A-B dungeons with not that many passages and alternative routes.

The quests were mostly quantity over quality, and your log book just fills with many shallow quests (there were some good ones).

The setting was also not my cup of tea and felt depressing and dark.

What do you think about it?
Interest < none. Steam infected, probably day 1 DLC, plus half a dozen others in the next few months. Virtually no storyline, takes about 5 minutes to get through it, vast empty areas, paid mods. Oh I am talking about Skyrim with guns.
I do like Fallout and I would like to play it.
But I can't play it.
So... no.
the system requirement is too high, even higher then witcher 3, considering the game looks similar to fallout 3 graphically
should have been if you can run skyrim, you can probably run this system requirement
I really want to get this game, but I don't want to stress my laptop. If one day I happen to upgrade my cooling system, I'll purchase Fallout 4 for sure.
I'll be excited when Fallout3 will be available on GOG.com
No. Since it won't be available DRM free, I won't play it.
Best to wait for a complete Edition so at least that way you get all the content and some of the bugs will be ironed out by then.
No. I have all the Fallout games and still haven't managed to find the time to play one. So I will care about Fallout 4 when I will at last have finished a couple of them. Until then, there will certainly be a GOTY edition of Fallout 4... and maybe 5 and 6 too! ^_^
There was plenty of negative reaction among the purists for Fo3. Expect the same if Fo4 is anything like fo3. Didnt a few people say Bethesda can make great open worlds (but bad at stories and filling it - hence why FNV was a tad better since Obsidian worked on it - bugs aside).
