I'm excited, but also skeptical at the same time considering how big of a step back Skyrim was.

The story campaign was such a let down in Skyrim - so short and underwhelming.

Also, the dungeons came in few flavors and were mostly linear A-B dungeons with not that many passages and alternative routes.

The quests were mostly quantity over quality, and your log book just fills with many shallow quests (there were some good ones).

The setting was also not my cup of tea and felt depressing and dark.

What do you think about it?
Since I didn't enjoy Fallout 3 and NV because they were too boring for me, no I'm not looking forward to the game.
Loved Fallout 3 and to a lesser extent NV so I'm looking forward to Fallout 4.
Have started the pre-download so that it is ready to play at launch time. I hope its a little less buggy than the last two games.
I just hope I can run it, but I'm looking forward to it.
Eh, it might turn out alright (or it could turn out to be a great game), but I'm not exactly excited enough to get it day 1. I'll wait 1-2 years after release to see whether or not I'll try it.

It's an open-world-bethesda game, of course it'll be buggy
For good or for ill, as time passes on, I find it harder and harder to get really excited about AAA franchises.

The fist decade of "as realistic as AAA budget can buy" games got me excited, because it was new.

Now, I'm just jaded about it and look for my next fix of childish wonder elsewhere. Yeah, they get closer to reality each passing year with the graphics, but I've already seen what it looks like at 90%-95% of the way there. My imagination can fill in the blanks.

I guess if they can come up with full immersion within my lifetime, I'll get excited about that, at least for a while, but until then, show me the next batch of Indie titles pls.

YES! Very excited. Cannot wait to endlessly hoard things XD

Seriously, though, i'm very excited to play through the Wasteland again.
Nah. Unless a game really interests me, I hold off from buying until the perfect all-in-one edition is released. That, and Bestheda's open-world games are rather lackluster to me. If a developer like Obsidian gets another go at the license, I might be interested.
I shouldn't get too excited, because I won't be able to play the game before a couple of months (I need a new computer to be able to run it or a console). But yeah, GOTY potential for me.
I am more excited at high chances to get Oblivion on GOG next week :)

minus 70 rep...nuff said. : P
Excited a bit, but won't be getting it until 2018 or so...
Aw, I didn't see your thread otherwise I wouldn't have made one. Dang it, sorry.

But i'm super excited to play the game. I've been waiting for fallout 4 for a few years now, and I watched E3 just to see the announcement. I've played about all I can play with my sandbox games and look forward to this new one :)
Fallout should stay an Isometric turned based RPG not baby's first STALKER game.

Wasteland is just not is interesting and memorable as Fallout :P
