Ixamyakxim: Woooowwooooww! Thank you so much! I haven't thought of this game in like 30something years! F*** tiny hovercrafts, f*** shitty racing models and f*** me not being able to make it like seven seconds after the start of the first level. F-Zero. Damn.
It is regrettable that your memories of playing the original are not exactly associated with positive emotion. Have you attempted to re-visit the game? If you possess little to no desire, BallisticNG may be an excellent alternative. I do not simply 'recommend' it, rather, I fully-endorse it. The coronavirus pandemic had allowed for me to finally play F-Zero. It had not been too dissimilar to my introduction to the series, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity (2001), on the Game Boy Advance. Long ago, the latter had been quite useful in helping me to avoid being in the presence of my (unfortunately) currently still-living grandfather.
