DadJoke007: That was actually quite awesome. Browsing physical copies of both games and movies was a much different experience from browsing them digitally. Somehow it gave it more value, even if the end-product is the same thing.

I mean, if you actually pick something up and rent it after careful consideration, you're invested in the movie and will watch it and give it a fair shot. If something doesn't interest us on Netflix after clicking on it on random, we'll just click something else on random.

GameRager: Good points.....I wonder if in the future such places will come back more as "hipster" or nostalgia places by people wanting to make a buck or fill a need held by some?
I hope so, because I want nothing whatsoever to do with "the internet of things"! : (

You've left me wondering if you know the difference between a theory and a fact.

By theory I mean all the fearmongering about x day or year being the end of days due to y reasons.

fr33kSh0w2012: Yuck Barilla is disgusting I tried that once never again it was so rancid.
avatar
Cadaver747: Funny thing, I was advised to buy only Barilla by trusty co-worker from Italy, Milan. I've tried different products and Barilla was kind of better than others. Later on I was told by a friend that Italy send their goods to Russia (and probably to other countries as well) with various quality, he meant that we never taste proper Italian pasta imported to our country because it would be of inferior quality. My friend implied that he had his sources and that he even had a business deal and close relationships with guys from Italy importing goods to Russia.
Perhaps that is the reason why some products are not good enough.
There is an advertisement that claims "the most popular pasta in Italy", which always makes us laugh, since Italians (as a general rule) don't buy dried noodle, they make it from scratch.

Also, I make my pizza from a sound retail brand, and add my own toppings, and extra cheese.

I truly doubt you guys/gals don't have a decent number of people buying pre made stuff there as well(especially as time goes on and old habits die off over time). ;)

Sounds nice....even if pizza isn't technically italian italian(it was invented by immigrants to the US, iirc). :)

Your recall is flawed.

Pizza (Italiano for "(a piece of) bread") was a staple for the residents of Naples (Italy) during a medieval famine; it was whatever could be found baked on a crust of dough.

I meant the pizza we are all used to, of course. :)
