My favourite animal is definitely the dog. I can't have one right now because of a small apartment, but as a kid me and my cousin raised 2 of them (one a guard dog and the other a herd dog) and we enjoyed every day with them, from puppies to very old dogs. Dogs know how to play with you and are very obedient.

Regarding favorite animal - well i would say mine is the Siberian Husky - a few friends owned one and they are amazing animals. Sadly due to allergies to animal hair i haven't owned/couldn't have owned one yet myself but still hoping to be able to get one sometimes at the later stages of my life (just hoping there will be a good way to get rid of the allergy for good in the future ^^)

Turtles/tortoises are my animals of choice. Of course there are many species and I'd be less fond of the dangerous ones. As a whole, they've persisted in this crazy world and seem rather chill and just seeing one of mine bask makes me happy.

During summer, a friend and me went hiking and while resting in a meadow noticed some rustling sounds behind us. First, we only saw flowers and blades of grass being moved about, but couldn't see which critter was responsible for this. It was really comical to watch and follow the path of shaking plants.

Getting closer and carefully bending the greens aside, we found a mole digging around for ants. It was so busy with this (digging, feeding and wiggling about to shake off ants which were crawling all over it) that the mole didn't seem to notice us at all. We even went so far as to pet the little fella on its butt. They have a very soft one.

So since, I've been really fond of moles.
