My favorite pet was always a dog.In my childhood grandma had a german shepherd which let me close to it and i loved that pet and i played with it but one day he was gone and nobody told me why they took him away.
Also my avatar maybe a cat robot but that only is because i liked his personality in game(still didn't watch the anime with this character) and also no i don't smoke.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I am sure that your dog lived a happy life. I like dogs as well, but I live in a small apartment and I am sure a dog would not feel comfortable in such a small space.

As for my favourite pet I'd say parrots, especially the Rosella parrot. I really love hearing their chirping, I enjoy having them flying freely in the house & playing with anything they find while trying to satisfy their curiosity of the world. And you should really see them fighting who will get first sprayed with water. Or trying to hide a peanut in your fist and let them try to take it from in there. Very sweet animals. Cheers! :)

Although I have pet cat, unfortunately she is not very smart or playful or grumpy enough or cuddly or capable hunter (still love her doe :) ), so my favorite animal would be hedgehog. They always look friendly, are highly photogenic, make strange noises, and scare away all the rats (when you live in a basement apartment with loose sewer cover nearby, that is sometimes important :D )

I would be in.. except the one game on there that until recently I did not and have was interested in getting is divinity, and I finally caved and purchased it during the sale.

I don't so much have a fav animal, but cats are always nice. Snakes are neat as well. Love finding garter snakes around the yard. Thankfully never found a (living) copperhead though.

I remember one day when I was working at a factory a big ass (like 5 footer) rat snake made his way inside to get warm.
I found out about it by hearing the one employee scream as she found it. It was our amusement for the day.

My favourite animals are cats. No special reason, just my grand parents had always some cats at home, and I just loved to play with them when I was a kid and whenever I was visiting them :)

Animals as pets? I'm a proud owner of ̶a̶ the Sushi Cat. Other than that, I don't think I'd ever be able to take care of any pet. :P But I've been told that I really liked our fish when I was young. Unfortunately, they all died when I was about 2 (I'm not sure why, but erm, it definitely wasn't me, really!)

My favourite animal is cheetah. I remember, when I was a liitle kid, my father told me this is the fastest animal on Earth (well, on land) and since I liked all cats (Felidae) and I was fascinated by speed, this was a natural choice.

If you mean as a pet, I think my favourite are dogs.

My favorite animal right now is millipedes, they help compost stuff in my garden. They eat woodchips and shit, sometimes they mate.

Scratch that, my favorite animal is common house gecko, I'll post a pic later.
