The human need to celebrate remembrance days baffles me, but at least something productive may come of it.
Seriously though, good for you. Those were dark times when the choices we value so highly as PC gamers seemed to grow fewer by the day. I too was close to packing everything in and moving to greener pastures.
If it wasn't for GOG, I think a lot of us would have moved on to greener pastures long ago... especially us older gamers who have enough experience with the hobby to know what a downward spiral it has taken in the last few years. GOG became the light at the end of a very dark tunnel.
