Why not wait until it is announced before denouncing Gearbox?

As in announced on GoG. I don't care about what they're doing on Steam.

Tannath: Meh. I'm not a big fan of side-scrolling platformers really, I just happened to play the first one many many years ago and bought it for... nostalgia reasons.
Fair enough.
Oh shit, I really hope that there'll be another sale for
Balls of Steel, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure and Hocus Pocus until they're gone.
I don't want them to just drop off my wishlist into the void but rather into my library, since I'm into playing such Dos games in Linux with QJoyPad atm.

Ah shit, and I still don't own Manhattan Project here :/

Not really sure I want it, but still... I want to have the option to eventually buy it one day .

Duke Nukem Manhattan Project is awesome.
I really enjoyed it, especcially with a small and easy widescreen hack.
Oh no! Time to get Secret Agent and Duke Nukem during Christmas sale!

Grargar: Why not? It's a side-scrolling platformer like Duke Nukem 1+2.

I've had quite a bit of fun with that game. (It's a 2.5D platformer.) I'd suggest checking it out anyway: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=duke+nukem+manhattan+project
Thanks for the post. The Steam situation doesn't interest me at all, but I'd be curious to know if any games will wind up being lost from the GOG catalog and if the anthology will continue to be available drm-free.

Though... I own so many of those games I'm not sure I'd put down the $40...
Just interested in Word Rescue and Math Rescue from that pack. I don't think they're worth $9.99 though. :P
Well, they royally fucked Duke with Forever of course they want to abuse it's corpse.

I admit it looks fun. We'll see how things unfold.
Can Gearbox remove all Duke Nukem titles from GOG? If the answer is yes, then what will happen to people who have DKs in their library? Because I have Duke Nukem 3D and this news scared me.
'K, Cheers for the intel. Would be getting Duke 3d on Steam Winter Sales then.

Technically it will be blocked from purchase to everybody who doesn't own it already, but you'll still have it in your library forever.

Can we trust GOG to announce removals before it happens, or do they remove things from the catalog without warning?

I'm not a huge fan of duke, but manhattan project is on my wishlist and I'll probably want to check out the older dos titles sooner or later anyway. They're kinda important...

Sometimes they have to remove things from the catalog without warning. Any games you bought should be safe in your library, though.
