Really? I'm so used to seeing people turn down the lights (or to turn them off entirely) to project stuff. Even during classes.

I got 170. Though quite a couple of them I got as freebies from gog. A few ones were given by generous members of the community. I beat around 30% of the games I own.

I don't have an image of my home setup, and light levels do differ between projectors (the brighter they are, the better they handle brighter ambient light conditions), but here's an example still frame of a recorded session at work (cropped to remove people while still showing the projected image and light condition). While the room lights are off, the sun shines brightly through the windows, and the whiteboard lights are active.

What is that thing on top of the screen?

I recall there was a Portuguese company that made some really good projection screens. I think this is their website. They don't seem to be a very large enterprise, but their stuff seems to be excellent. And they seem to advertise one model, claiming it is usable under direct sunlight. (Website not in English).

I just didn't know if a "home setup" was too far of achieving this.

That's the projector. Short throw projector with a mirror reflecting the image onto the screen. Specifically this one, the screen and projector are sold together as an interactive whiteboard (think of the board as a giant drawing pad). The Youtube channel Techmoan has a review of another example of short-throw projectors (not interactive, that one).

Wow! Great equipment you have in your schools.
Do the teachers make good use of them? Do you think they help kids learn better?
The introduction of technology in schools here in my country has been a total waste of money, I believe.

A couple of the older teachers are stubborn and still want to use overhead projectors and transparent plastic sheets, but for the most part, they're making pretty good use of at least having the ability to show videos and web sites off their computers, and the interactive use is growing, slowly but surely, as well.

249, though that number is a bit weird considering the Catacombs Pack has 5 games in one entry, while for example Star Wars X-Wing has 3 entries for the same fucking game. So who knows what the real number is? Probably around 240. I kinda went crazy on gog over the past 12 months. In April 2015 i only had like 25 games here :D

And retail stuff, if i take all my consoles (24 by now), PC, Amiga, C64 and Arcade machine stuff into count. It's probably another 2000-2500 games easily. With tons of duplicates of course.
