Do you think it's feasible for one to beat/play in a more ''in depth'' way at least 40 games a year? I know, depends on the choice of games... but, overall, feasible?

Not directed at me but it certainly is possible.
If I actually bothered to finish most games I'd probably be around that number.

Weird thing that someone - me included - "uses" game backlogs as a number thingy. Shouldn't be like that at all.
I know, numbers and gaming, always been that way, but big digital backlogs and stuff is something kinda new.

Most of my games are backlog. Like finishing half the game quitting and maybe coming back.
Someday I will, really.

100? And you're worried? I've got almost 600 on GOG alone. Then there's Steam, XBOX, Android, games on DOSBox from old originals, games on ScummVM from old originals, games bought from developers directly, pen and paper RPGs and tabletop games... I need around 10 lifetimes to get through those.

Hah, if that would be so easy :P. But I have a job, a fiancée and a few hobby projects.

It is that easy, I doubt you'd still have a house, a job or a fiancée afterwards though.
